“I decided to treat my family to a meal at the Union Station just down the street from this store. We are from Sterling Heights and had never visited this part of town. The Union Station legendary ribs were so/so but this store was a hit for me. There is a wide variety of items to peruse with many unique items in both the upstairs and on the main floor. I came to browse and burn time till the restaurant opened and was pleasantly surprised with a must-have find. I couldn't walk away from a beautiful leather cross-bag. The pony hair was so soft and the colors were gorgeous. With tax, I forked over $200.00; expensive, you bet! Worth it for the find; you bet! The cashier was pleasant and knowledgeable of all the items in the store. I'll be back to spend more time to carefully look at the fun selections such as clothes, jewelry and soaps.”

“Big shout out to the owner of Dig Sum Gems in the Dixie Flea Market. My 7 year old grandson has taken an avid interest in rock collecting and has decided he wants to be a geologist when he grows up. When I told him we were going to a place that sells rocks, he was so excited. The owner was extra kind to him and made him feel very special. He had a chest full of agates and other stones that was too high for my grandson to reach and was kind enough to find a way to get it down to his level. ( and we spent a lot of time agonizing over his choices). Anyway the owner of sells everything for rock hounds as well as crystals and jewelry. Check him out.”

“One of the younger ladies in a store there got me right on a pendant and classic wood frame Cartier glasses. A bit pricey, but for being in a mall not bad at all. I wanted custom lenses on the glasses and they even did that to. Clean the glasses and pendant plus chain for free every time I come by. “Best place to go for watch repairs! I brought one of my watches here for repair and cleaning, and they got it done at a very reasonable price. The watch I brought them was dingy looking and couldn't hold time at all. They made that watch look and run like it is brand new! They also have a collection of various coins available. “I've only shopped at PDS a couple times but they have a great selection of clothes, gift ideas and other items you're not going to find at a chain store. Also I see a review from a GaryK - he is nothing but a trouble maker. I heard that he'd come to the store seemingly impaired demanding that he be paid early. The store had to kick him out and I heard he made threats of violence. This was back in 2022. He still seems to be carrying a grudge when he really needs to look in the mirror and clean up his act!”

Personally though, I tend to think that their silver coin prices can be a little pricy compared to their competitors.”
