First time there, was looking for a camp ground and a place to fish. Great place.

This park has very little light pollution and I was able to see the aurora borealis last week.

We visited once at the end of September which was so peaceful! We took the short walk from the dark sky park to the beach front. It was definitely worth our drive down! I also came last night to see the northern lights at the dark sky preserve, and WOW. The stars and sky were gorgeous and I love having a preserve so close!
