“Very impressed with this volunteer group!!! Rented the 1976 caboose approximately 1 month prior online. Arrived day of ride 1 hr early. Was able to watch them pull the steam engine into place and hook up to the cars. Conductor was very friendly. The park at Quincy is very nice to get off and stretch your legs. There is only one vendor so be patient. In my opinion, let the train crew do their job and stay out of the way. Once the engine is moved to the back of train to pull back to Coldwater the engineer was happy to answer questions. Remember this is a volunteer group and safety is of great importance. The experience was enjoyed by our entire party of adults.”

“Most of the volunteer staff is exceptionally nice and thoughtful. Carlos is a big hit with individuals. He's always going the extra mile to talk with others checking on them to make sure they are doing already. That's above and beyond what you would expect from a volunteered. It's very heart warm in ng to see that type of humanity still. It's very rare anymore it seems. All volunteers are greatly appreciated as well as the ones who donate. Thank you all so much¡!”
