“We stayed in the main house, in the overnight suite called the Amish room. Tight fit in the room, and the bathroom would be far better with a pocket door, towel hooks, and a towel bar lowered for hand towel use. Mattress was comfortable enough but synthetic sheets were too uncomfortable and hot so I would bring my own cotton sheets next time. TV needs to be wall mounted to allow for more practical use of the space, and there definitely should be two swing-arm wall lamps mounted above the bed. The little 40W lamp was useless. Refrigerator and microwave were out in the hall and had to be shared with other guests. We could hear snoring from the next room so would strongly suggest that a thickly-padded headboard be installed on the wall to reduce noise from opposite side of the wall. Communications with owner and cleaning person were very pleasant and effective. The cost for our impromptu stay in mid-July was very reasonable and the location was satisfactory so we would stay again if in the area.”
