I have been buying from him for years but after this year I won't be back. This time I bought guineas and he waited until after I purchased them to update the pricing to be lower on his board as I was standing there..because he couldn't get to it earlier but refused to give me the sale price even though I mentioned it before paying because I read it on his Facebook page. Yes he is rude. It's part of dealing with him. You either accept it or go elsewhere. He is rude to everyone farmer or not. Sells sick animals quite often and lies about gender. Once I brought a friend out there to get some birds and it almost ended in a fight between the owner and my friend because he was simply asking questions about why the birds looked sickly. Interestingly enough, the birds are no longer visible to shoppers, you select the variety from a board up front and the owner brings them up in a closed box. You then get to be surprised when you get home with what you get. The only reason I ever went back was to be able to buy things not readily found elsewhere. Lesson learned.

I bought 28 chicks from here so far; 14 the first time, was very happy with them & bought 14 more. A few of them were the more expensive specialty breeds as well. All of them have been healthy & turned into beautiful chickies! As far as the owner Rich, I found him nice & very easy to deal with. I read all the info on the process before ordering & it was a smooth transaction. People saying he’s rude maybe just aren’t used to dealing with real farmers?? Lol!

1/10 do not recommend. Greedy greedy business. Bought Guinea keets a month ago for $6. We saw a post on social media and drove over an hour back up there to take advantage of a “sale” that was going on for the end of the season. The post said not to call about his inventory. He raised the prices of his guineas to $10 each and then put them “on sale” for $5 IF you bought 10 or more. Yet all he talked about was how he wanted to just be done with birds for the year. Completely unethical business for repeat customers. Hoping people heed this warning and do not patronize these unacceptable practices.

Regret ordering from this business. From the start it was hard to get an order and was playing phone tag and waiting days on end just to get a reply to a voicemail or not having my call returned. When I finally made the order the guy seemed rude, not good with customers and kept complaining about orders. I ignored that because I was so excited about my new chicks. I paid 285 through friends and family on PayPal as requested. Was fine waiting awhile for my chicks and he said he’d call when they are ready. After awhile I called to check at least for a date so I knew when since I was in the dark and when he finally called back he told me to come get them now and to hurry before they are gone and that most of my order would not be able to be completed which I understand but didn’t know why I wasn’t called and why he sounded so annoyed and complained about having 600 orders ahead of me. I checked Facebook before heading out and his top post posted recently said he’d be there on that Thursday so I drove 3 hours for them to be closed and then 3 hours back, I called to let him know. He later texting me to tell me I need to hurry up and get my chicks and that it was my fault for not calling his phone that he never answers and it’s my fault for not ignoring the recent post of him saying he’d be there and scrolling multiple posts down to see he’d be gone. So I decided after everything and reading reviews to just cancel my order. Of course he won’t refund me even though I had a bad experience. Almost $300 lost but I’m excited for my chicks I’ve ordered from more professional businesses owners and wouldn’t want to risk getting sick chicks around my flock anyways after reading reviews.

I bought chicks on 2 separate occasions this year from this business. This was 3-4 weeks ago now. All chicks are thriving, no issues. The buying process was easy. He accepts cash only, which I have no problem with. The guy doing sales (I’m assuming the owner) was nice and easy to talk to. He immediately responded to my text messages. Some of the 1 star reviews here seem like they were written by crazy/unreasonable people who don’t know anything about chickens. I bought specific breeds for their look and color of egg laid. 18 pullets, 2 straight run. Will update this review if needed (if adults don’t seem to be what I purchased). Definitely will be a returning customer.

The guy that runs the place was very rude. Very impatient and not helpful. I purchased some grown hens, less than a year old, but I suspect they are not the age they were listed at. The hens were in very poor health when I received them. After two weeks of some simple tlc and neccesiities they are looking better but not laying yet. I would not go back of trust issues and the guy is not cut out to be a buisness man. He'll also assumes everyone should have a Facebook and read his entire Facebook before calling or coming by with any questions. And keep the questions to zero, bc he doesn't the patience to answer them without complaining that no one reads his page in its entirety.

After some discussion,I asked for a bantam rooster. They showed me a picture and it looked beautiful. The man went and got the rooster and brought me the box. When I got home, it was afullsize rooster. No returns allowed at all. No refunds.

Me and a friend bought 30 young hens about5 weeks ago. He told me "their feathers are s little rough, but they are laying machines" got them home amd the feathers were more than a little rough. Most were completely bare breasted & bare patches everywhere.did not get an egg for 3 weeks and am only get one a day from the ten i got.cannot believe someone would sell sick birds like that. I would never put my name on that. They are being treated now for parasites. Watch what you buy from here, buyer beware!
