About The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center
The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center is a convenient and well-organized place for donations and shopping. Customers appreciate the easy drop-off process and friendly, helpful staff. The store’s location is accessible, making it a good spot to donate items that will go toward a good cause. However, some visitors have experienced issues with the payment system, as card readers sometimes do not work or do not accept certain cards, which can be frustrating. Despite this, the staff are generally nice and the store remains a popular destination for donations. Shopping at the store can be hit or miss. While some items are reasonably priced, others are considered overpriced, especially used clothing for children, which can cost up to $20 for a pair of pants or hoodies. Customers feel that prices are higher than similar thrift stores like Goodwill or outlet stores, making it less affordable for parents trying to buy clothes for their kids. Many believe that the prices are too high for used items, especially when comparing to new, discounted, or thrift options elsewhere. Overall, the store serves a good cause and has friendly staff, but concerns about payment issues and high prices for certain items have been noted.
Picked up a couple of books. They had a decent selection of books. Huge, but it feels a bit like a warehouse and some items are slightly disorganized.

Rude employees, tells you that you cant use the dressing rooms but yet they dont lock the door. How do you expect people to buy clothing that they havent tried on. I won't be giving them any of my money ever again. Sorry your staff is so lazy they can't take care of some dressing room clothes. Hire better people.
