Keweenaw Agate Shop is a great place with a beautiful collection of rocks, agates, and other rock-based awesomeness. The owner is a very nice, knowledgeable, and most helpful lady who shares her passion and expertise. She is patient with curious visitors, helps with identifying agates and local rocks, and enjoys confirming finds. She has a fascinating history and comes from a long line of geologists. Visitors love the shop, feel more confident after their visit, and often plan to return to share their finds or see the collection again. It is a wonderful stop for anyone in the Keweenaw Peninsula.
Best rock shop in Michigan! Owner is friendly, knowledgeable, and doesn't over price. Large selection of local rocks are a little of most everything else. Definitely worth the effort to go!

The guy behind the counter (tie die shirt guy we will call him) sorry I didnt catch your name. Awesome person, great shop! Lots of awesome things to look at and buy! Picked up some yooperlites and gained some knowledge from the gentleman on where to find some! Great little shop! Stop in and say hi!
