“Best rock shop in Michigan! Owner is friendly, knowledgeable, and doesn't over price. Large selection of local rocks are a little of most everything else. Definitely worth the effort to go!”
“A delightful shop next to Jamsen's which is open seasonally in Copper Harbor. There were neat items to see, anything from agates, gemstone jewelry, handmade soaps, and more. We purchased a beautiful, mermaid stained glass hanging and an adorable "MerCat" or "CatFish" ceramic dish- which houses my 2 favorite rocks from our trip this year. It was a pleasure to chat with the owner and learn more about Copper Harbor.”

“We took a spontaneous February trip up to Copper Harbor and were delighted to see the Laughing Loon was open! I used to come up as a child and it was my favorite store. Under newer ownership, the store looks exactly how I remember and is filled with a ton of fun and unique gift items. The owner's mother was working and was wonderful - she told use they will be launching an online store and I will be sure to keep an eye out for it. The Laughing Loon is a must stop location when visiting the area.”
