Jamie is The worst cashier here at menards she is super lazy needed some carpet from the back but also needed to grab wood. Guy in the back said take a picture the cashier can put that price in the computer. Oh no Jamie was insisted I brought it up front after telling Mrs Jamie I also needed in the back why load it and unload it 2 times? Nope Jamie turned her light off and went up to customer service to chat it up with other coworkers while I had to go get the carpet. Always skip Jamie's line at Mernards

We have been on a wild goose chase for parts, But I wanted to take a moment to express our appreciation for Mark in plumbing. Mark has gone above and beyond to help us find exactly what we needed, I had called another store before this that offered little to no help.. Mark took the time out of their day to make sure that I was connected with the products that I needed. They were happy to walk through the store to check inventory, And also go online create a shopping cart with the product products I needed - and actually go ahead and send that to me! Customer service needs more people like Mark. Menards, you are fortunate to have an employee like this and I hope you protect them at all cost

I bought some landscape timbers, I was real surprised how nice they were. One of the yard men showed me where they were and offered to help me load them.

Listen these guys in the back lumber/garden area work their butts off! I had an order of mulch to pick up. Well it was amazing to see someone so kind and happy to help me load it!!! The whole truck!!! Matthew, I so appreciate your help today! JOE! Joe at the outdoor pick up gate. You rocked it. He was beyond helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you Menards for having those two in your team!!!

Menards isn't as low priced as Home Depot, but there are times I can't find items that I can at the depot. I am not a fan of the outdoor lumber yard at Menards so I avoid. I also do a lot of returns and Menards is a pain with the stupid paper credit slip. I do a lot of handyman plumbing and electrical work, so buying extra and returning extra is a nice option at HD (something HD emp have encouraged).
The best thing about Menards is the larger display of their items in about every department. You can see an actual item instead of the picture on the box.

Bought a Weedwhacker three weeks ago pulled cord broke. Went to take it back to the store and was escorted out of the store had receipt all I wouldn’t buy a bag of dog food from that place. I’m just gonna stick with Home Depot from now on this place is a joke Couldn’t even exchange. My weed whacker wasn’t even three weeks old terrible customer service and manager on duty is racist.
