“One of my favorite local Value Worlds, great selection, reasonable pricing as long as you aren't looking for name brand items then its just not even in question.. wish they would stop price gouging on higher end items again just to make an extra buck and make things even less obtainable for others... but ya'know that seems to be how everything is lately. They make money while we struggle to pay for clothes... anyways, great selection.”

“Just had Jason & Norman come to a client's house and remove furniture and housewares for donation; super courteous with my elderly client, explained in detail items that they could/couldn't take (totally reasonable reasons!), and made sure to respect the home and carpets. A true pleasure to work with! Thanks Jason, Norm, and the whole GCoH crew!”

“Hey guys dropping in for some QTNA, I just spoke with Tania and she was so helpful! Yes, Detroit Closet does buy shoes, clothes and accessories from 1-3pm on weekends. On weekdays it depends on how long they will buy but it’s based off their budget for the day. They open at 12 noon and close around 6pm. Hope this helps bc it helped me!”

5858 Vernor Hwy, Detroit MI 48209
“I see lots of low reviews on here but honestly I feel this is one of the best thrift spots in Detroit. People who complain about the closing time announcements should come earlier. These folks work hard all day long. If you’re complaining about prices, it’s definitely more affordable than any goodwill. If you don’t like the management or the prices then shop somewhere else. More for the people who appreciate this location.”
