“Not enough cashiers and line was long I don't like that they check my receipts before I exit the establishment I'm not a thief I work hard for my money.and I feel disrespected because you have a few bad apples you should not have to check everyone's receipts”

“If you're looking for something that your grandmother kept in her kitchen you'll probably find it at Bur-Lers. We went for pet food because they have high-quality bags of dog food, but they have everything from the kitchen to wind chimes. Are you looking for fabric? They have it. Office/school supplies? Yep. A weird experience when we went yesterday for my sons birthday. I think it was weird. The large squishy toys they had were kept behind the register and my son asked for one to purchase. He picked out other items, bought them and the squishy. I went to purchase my stuff and he showed me the squishy, I saw it had white stuff on both ends and glitter on some parts. I asked the employee if he could pick out another one, the employee said they aren't allowed to (ie: allow the customer to choose which squishy. That they're paying for. At a physical retail store). He did attempt to scrape the white stuff off with his nails with no luck. I asked the employee if he could trade it out then for one that didn't look so used. He said he wasn't supposed to, seemed annoyed, but he did trade it out. That one was clean and felt better/not stretched out. So, yeah, not a huge deal but left me with an ick feeling. I'm not sure how strict the policy is for employees to not let customers pick out the behind the counter toys, but feels like it could be relaxed for paying customers.”
“Huge store and 15% off everything if you are a member!! The lines however are long and the wait is pretty long. I ended up waiting for a half an hour and didn't even make it half way through the line.”

“This Barnes & Noble is located on the Wayne state university campus. As expected in Midtown the parking is street parking. Upon entering the building there is a separate café that is different from the Starbucks café. There is a lot of Wayne State merch. Office supplies were largely marked up. I came mostly for the Barnes & Noble aspect, I was disappointed in the limited selection of books- only 5 to 6 rows of books that were mostly geared towards young adult and fiction. The Starbucks city area was quite large with many students studying it hanging out. I would consider this location if you're already in the area and need a place to get Coffee or do work, but I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to check this place out unless you really need to for the bookstore.”

“I had my daughter’s birthday party at the West Bloomfield location, two years ago and it was a hit. I’ve had her attend two camp sessions at the Dearborn location during winter break and she loved both of them. She had plenty of crafts to do and take home, got glitter hairstyles, and make up done. We will always be coming to the Friendship Factory for events!”
