“We have ALWAYS had the best service and quality dresses for all four years of dances for my daughter. Not sure what we would have done without them, especially for this years prom!”
“Steve and Vogue Vintage are amazing! We found a beautiful mid-century cabinet with tons of character, and Steve—the owner—personally delivered and installed it. Exceptional service and a truly unique selection. We'll definitely be buying from them again. A great find in the Metro Detroit area!”
“This place had really great items like traffic lights, vintage clothing, toys, cups, coins, artwork and more. Coffee for customers and a restroom were available.
My only issue was I spent over 20 minutes in this store stood next to and was passed by, by employees or vendors and it was not until I checked out that I was spoken to.
I was very interested in the traffic lights for my garage however I was not going to spent that much money when I was not greeted When I entered or while I was looking around the store which I did numerous times since I was visiting from another state”
“If you're in the area and you love vintage and nostalgia, you have to stop in!! A great old shop on Vernor, a few doors from Holy Redeemer. The building itself is like going back in time. They carry vintage clothes, shoes, even Western vintage. There are hats and purses, buttons and stickers. Lots of Detroit themed items and unique finds!”
“I absolutely love this place. Such wonderful (and reasonably priced!) gifts and hand-picked vintage finds. We are from Toronto and this is always our first stop when we get into town. Or sometimes our first and third and fifth!”
“She did a wonderful job altering my wedding dress for me! She was able to alter the lace top and sleeves so that it fit me perfectly, and added the perfect bustle for dancing. Would highly recommend bringing a wedding dress here!”
“Felt like I made a new friend in the owner, Joanna. She's very kind and has a great sense of humor. It's a fun place to shop and get a good deal on actual vintage items. Highly recommend!”
“I love Mama Coo's! Not only is the owner kind but she is also super helpful with everything and anything you may need. Great prices, great selection, I have to visit every time I'm town!”
“Decided to take my daughter to her first ever visit to a consignment store. This one is a very nice consignment store. Very friendly. And good selection with good prices. The industrial feel with the color coordinated rack and smaller items on the center table really made the experience of trying to find something much easier. Talking to the woman at the desk, we learned that this store was once at Eastern Market and was relocated to this area of Grand Blvd. Thank you for having such a welcoming environment.”
“Was reminded yesterday how wonderful this place is after a few years of not visiting. Reasonable prices, good quality and really made me nostalgic for how vintage stores used to be before they got crazy expensive in the last 10 years and filled with old forever 21 pieces. Got my dress last minute for a wedding and grateful that there are still local brick and mortar shops like this!!!”

“Love how welcoming and helpful 9 month bump is! They always show interest in what your in there for. Got my daughters masks from here for the first time because we struggled finding ones they liked fit wise and they are the best ones I have yet to find for my 2 & 5 year old with an amazingly reasonable price through all of this pandemic right now will be back for more and more bows and more clothes!”
“I couldn't believe that at the last minute ( the day of) I found the perfect outfit for a retirement party, and a dance party all for less that $10. I got so many compliments and I got my bingo card stamped. ?”
“I come here mostly every week and everyone is so nice and the prices are good. The cashiers are always so nice and make small talk and the clothes is so good. I always like to find baggy pants or just good jeans in general and they always have them! Expect i cant really good shirts but it’s still so good.”
“I came here once several years ago. I was treated so kindly and given a fair pawn amount. Later when I came to pick up my item I bought several pieces of jewelry. I felt like a human and not a way to just make money off me as a customer. I always return here periodically, just because :)”
“This is definitely one of my favorite thrift stores. I love the color coordination and I always find what I need and not to be mean but I like this one better then oak park”
“This is the second Value World I have visited. I usually enjoy thrifting but this is one of those places where you need to be mentally and physically prepared to dig through everything since their stores are so packed. The prices are okay. I had a digital $5 coupon since I signed up for their texts. I put it toward a scarf for our toddler. The cashier wasn't overly friendly and didn't seem to be thrilled to be there but she did get us out expeditiously.”
“Pros ...decent prices, 50 percent off color tag days, vending machines, cons can't try on because of covid, no restroom, closes at 7 instead of 9 not open on Sundays.”
“STORE is awesome went in and found a pair of tennis shoes and talked to the manager and got them 50% off great people great atmosphere very clean courteous workers”
“Never been to salvation army but I have went shopping and due to my circumstances I have to shop at the salvation army what a pleasant surprise large variety of clothes shoes swindle curtains my circumstances have me shopping at salvation army I'm so happy to see what a wonderful selection everything is organized everything is clean and the staff is polite and courteous”
“Staff are always friendly and helpful. This hidden jem in east Dearborn is a one of a kind spot to pick up great antiques and vintage clothing and jewelry. Most people don’t even know much about this place but it’s definitely worth coming back to if you like antiques or just old stuff.”
