The restaurant has a long history and is always full with long-time regulars. You can have a wonderful time just sitting here drinking coffee and relaxing until your meal arrives.
100+ year Detroit Coney Island with no frills - just good coneys and breakfasts. You sit at a well-worn counter stool as it was in 1921 - elbow to elbow.
If you want high end or fancy - that’s not us! We are authentic and well-worn in Southwest Detroit for over 100 years - always will be.
Cash only. ATM across the street No internet - We keep it simple. Anthony Bourdain once ate here - he loved it and we loved him.
We recommend that you call first before making a trip to the restaurant. Staffing is very tight and sometimes we close early because of staffing and if there’s not enough staffing, sometimes we don’t open it all. Don’t come without calling!
