“I avoid stopping in Detroit at any store or gas station. I wasn't able to get into the yard at work, remote for the gate died. I needed a 9v battery. I stopped here, although even late it was pretty busy, the cashier got us out quick, she was very pleasant to talk to.”

When they built the new Fort street draw bridge it almost put him under. In my eyes when the city does things like this they need to care for their residents especially the ones helping Detroit function.”

“Arguably the busiest/quickest service gas station/convenience store in the area. Wide selection of beverages and snacks to chose from. I love the selection of tobacco products the store carries. Also the man behind the counter is one of the most friendly people you can ever meet he goes by the name of "Jack" everyone seems to know the man behind the counter referring to the place as "jacks" instead of the name "Sunoco". I had to try this place out for the fresh daily made subs and I also recommend you try the Italian sub it is my favorite and has become a daily lunch for me as it is not to pricey and amazing quality! My co workers were the reason I chose this place and and boy were they right about this hidden gem. I definitely recommend this place to everyone that is in the area. Fast and extremely friendly service and good deals especially for a pricey area in downtown Detroit. Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00-9:00 Saturday 9-around 6 Sunday closed.”

“Had to be the best experience I've ever had with an auto shop. I called the place that fixed my control arm to ask for a quote, but they don't do radiators or anything like that, mostly tires and brakes, so they referred me to the citgo service station like, a block away from them. They quoted me 350 to do the radiator, parts & labor, great! Then they realized that my front end was crunched and they had to pull everything out and put it back in the right place, before they could even put a new radiator in there. At least without it blowing right away, and he wanted to do the job right. He showed me before I even paid, and it's NOTICABLY different in the front, he even popped all the dents out. And he did it for only 100 extra dollars, because I DIDN'T KNOW, and he didn't want to screw me over. He said it was wrong of the person who sold me the car to have lied about getting the front end fixed, and he wanted to help me out, And didn't feel right charging me more than that considering times are hard and he already quoted me 350. Normally he would have charged 600 for the work, which, considering how much work was put in, still would have been a reasonable price. I will be bringing my vehicle here again for sure, and I'm referring everyone I know here!”

“Just visited the young man was very rude and disrespectful been going for months he want I wrote a lottery that had str and box instead of getting clarification he assumed I meant 1/1 mistakes happen he then began to talk to me like I was trash I was trashed I even asked people in there what does str and box mean and they agreed with me and then he told me to get out of here i never had a problem and you need to train your employees not to disrespect people especially when they were not rude to you I offer customer training I will not recommend stopping there because of this you g man the rest have always been nice but one bad apple!
**Update I spoke to the owner and the issue was resolved within hours not many actually reads their reviews he did he apologized and like I said the rest of the staff is so nice mistakes happen I'm glad it was addressed immediately.”

The gentlemen in the convenience store were very nice when I told them I was waiting for a tow truck. They even let me use the bathroom.The food pricing was good, too (I bought a couple of Rx Bars).I'll remember this place when I'm passing through and need gas or food.”

“I needed the bathroom. It was open for public use, which is rare these days. It looked like it was cleaned regularly, but minimally. The walls looked unclean and the floor didn't look great but wasn't muddy and had no puddles around it. The toilet and sink were clean. The store itself looked great. Very clean store. Thank you for having a decent enough bathroom open for use! You have no idea how much I appreciate it.”
