Hart Plaza is an event venue right on the water with a boardwalk. It hosts festivals with free music across multiple stages, featuring diverse entertainment and a great vibe. The location offers a beautiful view of the river and sky. Events typically include numerous vendors and food trucks with jammin’ food, including delicious options like fried catfish, chicken wing dinners, and yummy lemonade. The atmosphere is described as spectacular with exceptional customer service from volunteers.
Parking can be a pain, with parking structures costing at least $20 and lots often not close by, though some free street parking is sometimes available. The venue has public restrooms on a lower level that are kind of dark and dank, but there are also hidden plumbed women’s bathrooms. The amphitheater seating at the main stage can get very hot. It is a good place for events with a great breeze by the water, though navigating to the plaza can sometimes be difficult.

Hart Plaza was beautiful as well as peaceful. The location provides a beautiful view of Detroit's water front with Canada in the background. You can look to the east and see the beautiful Marriott Renaissance Hotel. To the north you can see the iconic Joe Louis 💪🏾. Just beautiful and clean!

The Jazz festival was phenomenal! The vendors prices were very reasonable and the vibe was just chill. Can’t wait for next year💯‼🙂
