“A phenomenal experience at Detroit City Distillery!
The Blend Your Own Bourbon Experience was unforgettable. We dove into the art of bourbon blending, sampling unique barrels while learning proper tasting techniques and flavor profiling. Brand Ambassador Michael Babcock was outstanding—knowledgeable, engaging, and patient with every question we had.
The highlight was crafting a custom blend tailored perfectly to our taste. For the cost, the value was exceptional. This experience is a must for bourbon lovers and anyone looking for something truly special in Detroit.”
“This show was well worth the money. Captivating music, amazing vocals, & the atmosphere was really nice! I would definitely recommend this event to any jazz/soul music lover.”
“The space is absolutely stunning, with incredible light, beautiful architecture, and an atmosphere that made every gown look like a dream. If you are looking for a venue that is as gorgeous in person as it is in photos, Waterview Loft is it. We cannot recommend it highly enough!”

“The Guardian is one of my favorite buildings in Detroit. Inside and out, it's art deco at its finest. Definitely worth a visit even if it's just for the views.”
“The Fox and its staff are always awesome. Have visited many times over the years for a wide variety of shows...In recent times its been more for the kids....they love the theater as well...they feel like its a fancy night on the town.”

“I've visited here multiple times for corporate events, and each time it exceeded my expectations. They have facilities to accommodate any event requirements. The group I attended with was about 100 people, with food, an auditorium, and plenty of space for team-building activities. I highly recommend.”
“Saw your ad on TV for tickets to see the King and I , with Yule Brenner and Debrorah Kerr. Had balcony seats. One of the most beautiful experiences of my life. Thank you. I'll never forget. It was the early 80's. I've always enjoyed Broadway hits, Carousel, West Side Story and others. I purchased private balcony seating. Beautiful blue velvet comfortable chairs. Only one other couple with us. Extremely elegant.”
“I visited an EXCELLENT vendor truck, CHEF 3059. I know Chef Dameka personally and her food is AWWWWESOME. Her truck and food are compliant and delish. She's clean and her staff is friendly, professional and timely with orders. Next time you're near HUNTINGTON also known as Cobo Hall, check out her food menu. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her fried Catfish and Chicken Wing dinners. They're well worth the money. You won't be disappointed.”
“We just had our wedding here yesterday (September 13th) and it was an amazing event. The staff is extremely friendly and fun to work with. The building itself has a lot of charm and lovely aesthetic. A lovely gallery to look at and enjoy a long with a beautiful outside courtyard. This was the perfect place to host our wedding and will be coming back for more events and galleries going forward.”
“Working with TechTown Detroit to organize a press conference was an outstanding experience. We came in with a very last-minute request, and their team went above and beyond to make everything come together with the space seamlessly. They were incredibly organized, responsive, and solution-oriented throughout the entire process.
The space itself was fantastic—professional, welcoming, and perfectly suited for our event. A special thank you to Fardusee, who was such a pleasure to work with. She was attentive, thoughtful, and made sure every detail was handled with care.
This is a truly excellent team and an incredible space. Detroit is lucky to have TechTown as a resource, and I would highly recommend working with them on your events!”
“Visited for an event hosted by my church. There is parking on the street and parking lot. It was a very intimate setting. I think a perfect venue for hangouts, birthdays, or family gatherings.”
“It's always a great time at Loving Life Club. The owner and staff have become family to me. This place is such a vibe inside and out. My favorite spot is the patio where I can chill under the gazebo or on the deck. If you haven't already been here, please follow them on social media and go check it out asap.”

“Went to an event here - space is great for a small to midsize event. We had about 50 people and there was room for sessions and plenty of space to do small 1:1 breakouts.”
“Very beautiful architecture. it was my first time going i went to see highly suspect and I was floored by not only them but the building!! Drinks were pricey but amazing, I had a wonderful time.”

“Akeelah and Anna Maria horsford Valentine's day dance Snackers Ball Noble elementary middle school ? THE REGULAR BANQUET HALL HUSTLE DANCE CLASS ? JAMMING”
“As a wedding photographer, this is a GREAT place for a wedding, especially if it's on the larger side. There is so much space to mingle, the dancefloor is huge, and there's also amazing outdoor spaces (not to mention the docks-- if you're lucky you'll get a banger of a sunset on a clear night!) The staff and food-- also amazing. If you're interested in booking, don't hesitate!”

“The artist village in Detroit is truly one of the hidden gems that you absolutely need to stop in and check out! There are multiple indoor and outdoor gathering spaces that are filled with custom Detroit artwork always on display ??”
“Really cool venue. Saw Sunn O))) there. Good amount of parking right on the property. Was about $20 USD so no crazy expensive all things considered. Really cool vibe and the most unique venue ive been in. Staff seemed chill from my limited interactions with them. Drinks are expensive as to be expected. $14 cad converted for a standard small can of Modelo.”
“The Eastern is a wonderful Venue. Ms.Shema and hert team were very accommodating and work with us to present and successful event. We truly appreciate Shema for her efforts and patience.”
“Our room was spacious, and we had our own parking spot right in front of it. The inn's location is great; easy walking distance to downtown. Founders Brewing is close by. We felt safe. The owner, Mona, really aimed to please. Her breakfasts were delicious. Lots to do in Detroit; we're looking forward to returning. When we do, we'll stay at this wonderful inn.”
“THIS WAS A NICE PLACE THE OWNER IS AWESOME WE HAD OUR REPASS THEIR FOR MY NEPHEW DAITRIC IT WAS THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF SPACE FOR OUR FAMILY TO HAVE DINNER AND PARKING WAS GOOD”
“Held my father’s repast there a week ago and the venue was perfect for my family. A great space for just enough folks, clean, intimate, and affordable. My only concern was I had to call several times to reach the owner to have someone come unlock the closet with the controls to the sound system and to get access to a plunger (a guest used too much tp and clogged the toilet). When I did reach him he sent someone right over to help. Everything turned out awesome!! Thank you Suite 813!!”
“This is one of the hidden jewels in the city , The owner is very accommodating and pleasant to work with . The event space supplies linens for the table which is an added plus and you can actually get in early to decorate added bonus . Thank you for for your hospitality . I love you place . I will recommend for other events.”
“My cousin’s repast was held at the James Couzens’ location; it is quite tastefully decorated. This is a very nice venue. The space is intimate but large enough for 50-75 ppl.”
“The Cochrane House is an absolute gem in Detroit. This beautiful historic home is perfectly located—close to everything—yet feels like a true escape. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made the entire stay feel special from start to finish. And the breakfast… hands down the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and such a memorable part of the experience. If you’re looking for a fun, unique, and affordable place to stay, this Detroit bed and breakfast is a must. We can’t wait to come back!”
