Hertz is the best for customer experience car rental provider. Cost is more than its main competitor. However the collection of cars & the options for picking up the car varieties at airport is more convenient.Once I lost my laptop in a car during a pick up. Reported on time and the support team tracked the vehicle & helped in recovering my laptop.Clean & hygenic… All features of the car works well. Road side assistance and emergency support team is online over phone in case of any help needed.Overall good experience that satisfies the customer needs.

The worst experience in a car rental ever. Totally rude staff, condescending, not helpful. They have proposed as an alternative of 2 times the price of our original booking. We just walked a couple of meters and we found Budget car that worked perfectly. Just don't go there if you are looking for a friendly interaction. This rental place is just AWFUL.

Easiest car rental experience EVER!!!! Staff were very professional, attentive & organized. Every car rental company should take note of Hertz new business model. So much faster! Less hassle! In & out. Definitely my go to Car rental.

No longer a fan of Hertz since they took away option to TALK to someone when there is an issue. Returned a rental after one day and an attentent that was rushing to leave just said park the car and leave the keys. As suspected, the rental was NOT closed out unto 4 days later and almost $800 in charges. No way to call customer service like you used to be able to.... everything online from a robotic help desk. Frustrating........

My recent encounter with Hertz was nothing short of appalling. Upon arriving to pick up my rental vehicle, I was shocked to find it significantly damaged. Concerned for my safety, I politely requested an alternative vehicle. However, instead of accommodating my reasonable request, I was met with sheer rudeness and an ultimatum: either drive the damaged car or accept a downgrade. This blatant disregard for customer safety and utter lack of empathy left me feeling not only disappointed but also deeply disturbed. No customer should ever be forced into such a compromising situation, especially by a reputable company like Hertz. This experience has shattered my trust in Hertz and serves as a stark reminder to prioritize customer safety and respect above all else. Steer clear of Hertz unless you’re willing to compromise your safety and endure disrespectful treatment.

My recent encounter with Hertz was nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. Upon receiving the rental vehicle, I noticed significant issues that made me feel unsafe driving it. Concerned for my safety, I approached the staff to request an exchange for a vehicle in better condition. However, instead of offering assistance or understanding, I was met with rudeness and resistance. Not only did they refuse to accommodate my request, but they also downgraded the car without any regard for my needs or concerns. This lack of professionalism and customer care left me deeply dissatisfied with my experience. I urge potential renters to think twice before choosing Hertz and consider companies that prioritize customer safety and satisfaction.

My fiance and I flew to Detroit for his 45th bday and we rented a vehicle from hertz. We were helped by Tenai Chaney. She is the best, her customer service was amazing. She went above and behind to make us happy and to make sure we started off my husband’s 45th bday in Detroit the right way. I would rent from hertz Detroit again just because of her. Her willingness to help us and make sure we were comfortable went along way. I would give 10 stars if I could. Thank you again Tenai

Hertz car rental company is still in the dark ages … I was unable to rent the vehicle I had booked … they would not accept my Visa card because their machines could not read the card chip, neither would they process my Mastercard and they do not accept Apple Pay because they are using outdated card machines ….their employees were not very helpful ( when I asked the lady behind the desk to check if my card would work on another machine she became irritated and she wouldn’t do it )I ended up being stranded at the airport in Detroit and had to Uber to my destination … I’ll take my business elsewhere ….

the rental and car was fine until we received a fuel charge on our credit card statement. we opted out of purchasing fuel and filled up the tank on our own using gift cards from speedway that we received for christmas so of course we have no proof and now have to pay $100 on a tank that only took $40 to fill up. we asked for proof that the vehicle had an empty tank upon return and i have yet to receive it. i will no longer use this location to rent a vehicle, don’t recommend either.

I dropped off a rental on the 19th of February and they have not returned my deposit to my credit card. When I called no one answers the phone and they have a recording saying funds would be returned within 24 hours. Today is the 1st of March unacceptable. I have rented from others and never had this type of delay. They also put on their recording that you should contact your card holder and it was nothing they could do. Do waste you time or money they have awful customer service.
