About Pingree Farms
Pingree farms is a urban non profit community farm with education on all levels and bolth plants and large hooved stock Objectives (a) operate a federally licensed (USDA) petting zoo (b) To Raise Poultry and livestock and cultivate crops in a city setting for demonstration,promote understanding and to foster genetic divercity by maintaining heritage breeds and plantings. (c)To engage in community development by utilizing under-used urban lands and conducting volunteer days for planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops and maintaining poultry and livestock. This place is awesome, they have everything in a big city, that makes you feel like you’re in the country, animal zoo,model train, farming, and manufacturing, I love Pingree farms.

This is a neat place. 4H, science projects, U of D classes. Jimmy Mack has a lot going on here. Goat ? yoga is popular. Covid had out a damper on the petting and visiting activities. You can volunteer to help out and they have two huge greenhouses going up too.
