The evening included a light collection of finger foods from Lily's catering with delicious desserts made by Sue the theater creative director. They will have another great show in April so do yourself a favor and make arrangements to be there!”

“It's a great place to host an event. The inside is spacious and well-lit. I appreciate the decor and the layout of the building. The bathroom is one of the cleanest I've ever used. The staff are polite and friendly. I only wish they had a bigger parking lot because, for that type of building, it is way too small. But if you plan on staying inside for a while, it does get a little hot, but nothing cold water can't solve 😁.”

“Best Thanksgiving Turkey meal! Got a Thanksgiving Turkey package take-home meal. Turkey was perfect. Seasoned and ready to reheat. Juicy and great flavor. Stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry relish, and the dinner rolls were delicious. Highly recommend for anyone that does take-home meals for holidays. Definately going here again next year. (Better than any of the restaurants we’ve got Thanksgiving meals from.)”

“I went looking for cross stitch materials and there weren’t really any but I did find lots of craft books and magazines. That area does need some reorganizing but I loved that there was a chair so I could sit and take my time combing through everything. I’m not usually a fan of buying by the bag but I feel like I got my money’s worth and the cashier was great and truly felt like a member of the community. I also don’t often see VHS tapes at creative reuse stores so that was a really nice find. I look forward to my next visit”

Delicious popcorn and a fun 15 minute intermission at every show (raffle and prizes included) Organist plays music 30 minutes before every movie so there is incentive to show up early. Staff are welcoming and create a positive atmosphere. They also make custom t shirts and posters for most showings.”

“This is my 1st. Year as a Pack Leader. I was formally a Girl Scout Leader for 6 years. So transferring over to Boy Scouts I realized is to complete separate entities. Nothing is similar. They do things completely different... So when I first came here it was sort of intimidating but my nerves were set, by a lady named Regina. She was not only helpful in explaining to me some useful tips on our pack. But she also pointed me in the direction and what to do with some of our Scouts who were low-income and needed uniforms. I also want to mention how helpful Kevin from this district is and I believe Bob is someone else I spoke with who is also very helpful. The drive is worth it. Literally your one-stop-shop. I chose to go to the Detroit District instead of Troy. You wouldn't know and by the looks of it outside but this place literally has everything you need. At The Boy Scout shop you will find every single thing you need from uniforms to trophies to badges and patches here. If you are scout leader need guidance or need supplies for your pack or advice I recommend coming here.”

“I tried to call one day to become a new patient and to my annoyance every single number I called was giving me an old fashioned busy signal. I went to their website and after some snooping around i was able to find what appeared to be an interoffice IT email address, really it didn't seem to be for the public but I figured whats the worst that can happen and i sent them an email. Within 15 min I had an email back. Not only did they not mention the fact that this was not an email address for patient use but they apologized and Informed me that their phones had been down all day, and offered to take my name and number and have the receptionist at whichever location I preferred call me when the phones were working again. Unbelievable for a non profit place in this city, usually places around here that cater to low income people are so rude and lazy and condescending, this was so refreshing. I can't wait till be a patient here.”

“I love The Hub and Back Alley Bikes! Whether I need a piece of advice, a new tube, or a full tune up, The Hub is always my first stop. The staff is always super kind, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. The shop always has quality bikes and if they don’t have the parts I’m looking for they are quick to offer placing an order. Back Alley is also an incredible asset to have around with the amount of apartment dwellers that lack ample space to wrench on bikes. I love The Hub and Back Alley and I will tell anybody that will listen!!”
