On Friday July 12, 2024 I made a same day appointment to pep boys with not a clue what was wrong with my car. They were able to inspect my car and explain to me thoroughly what needed to be fix. I was given multiple coupons on my estimate even though the prices were already very reasonable. I was treated like a family member and I was driving my car home by the end of the day. It has been a week and I’ve had no problems. Definitely will be returning for all my other car troubles!

After going to a bunch of different auto parts I came into pepboys hopeless. The issue with a lot of places is that they were finding a specific part rather than wanting to use something similar. Harold really helped me and my problem! Thank you Harold

I paid to have brake pads and rotors replaced in March 2024. After installation, there was squealing and I thought maybe the pads and rotors needed to conform to each other. Nope, in April the brakes were still squealing so I took my car back to be inspected and was told there's nothing wrong with them. Its now June of 2024 and they still squeal. I'm questioning whether I needed new brakes and rotors because the old ones were quiet and stopped my car faster than whatever was installed on my vehicle. This shop is not trustworthy and I'm disappointed and ashamed for trusting them to service my vehicle properly.
New: The replies are asinine because if they really cared about hearing your experience, they would look up your information and contact you.

Pep Boys have been very fair and honest with me. They don't try to sell you things that you really don't need. I appreciate that and that's why I take my auto needs to them.

the guy at the counter was nice and polite. other than that a complete waste of time. booked at noon- arrived at noon, car wasnt seen or up in the air until 1pm. I didnt get a break down or an estimate of cost until 2pm.....the entire time im waiting in the lobby with my kids. I told them I was just there for brakes and using the 150 online special. I was quoted 850. Front brakes, Labor, Rear Brakes, Labor, Use of Tools. I said NO. 30 minutes later it was down. I took it to a Criagslist mechanic who honestly laughed- he showed me how there was no way they even took the tires off to do an inspection. I gave him 250 and within 45 minutes everything was perfect. Never ever going back to Pep Boys.

Great customer service from Amari today. Explained service & even though they weren't able to assist, he explained in detail why. I appreciate the honesty. If they can't assist they let you know.
