“We are so happy we found this place to send our daughter. She started in July this year and it was the first time she was in a school or daycare setting, it was a big adjustment for all of us. The teachers here have been absolutely amazing helping her feel comfortable, consoling her when she is having a rough drop off in the mornings, and take the time to know what she needs. Luna has learned so much since starting here and genuinely likes school. She absolutely loves Jamonia and has to give her a hug every time I pick her up to go home. “I enrolled my daughter in Midtown KinderCare in October of 2023. I was quite nervous about her adjusting, as she had been at another center for 2 years. I have been extremely pleased with the care and attention she has received. I love that she enjoys going to school each day, and when she is sick, she is upset that she will miss school and her friends. Miss Angela, Miss Lilley, and Miss Mahogany in the pre-K class are all great! They are patient and attentive to the kids. And don't get me started on Ms. Marilyn and Ms. Victoria. I LOVE the fact that each morning when my daughter walks into the center, she is greeted by name by both Ms. Marilyn and Ms. Victoria. The care that Ms. Marilyn has for the kids and the center shows! Great job!!!”

“When I was pregnant with my son in 2022, one of my biggest concerns was what childcare would look like for our family once maternity leave ended. We toured more daycares than I can count, but Joyful Jungle immediately stood out because of the warmth, kindness, and genuine care we felt from the staff.

My son started in May 2023 as a 12-week-old baby, and his younger brother followed soon after. From the infant room to the toddler rooms and now pre-3, both of my boys have been loved, encouraged, and cared for every step of the way. What I appreciate most is that Joyful Jungle feels like so much more than a daycare. It truly feels like an extension of our family.

As a working parent, one of my favorite things is the app. Not only does it make billing and tax forms incredibly easy, but the communication throughout the day gives me so much peace of mind. From diaper changes and meals to activity updates and tons of photos, I always know what my children are doing and can truly see that their days are filled with JOY.

Another thing I love is how easy they make daycare for busy parents. They provide the diapers, wipes, and nutritious meals (thoughtfully planned by a nutritionist) and snacks throughout the day. As a parent of two young boys, having those necessities included is such a huge help. I joke all the time that I wish they would send home leftovers for the parents! My kids are truly spoiled when it comes to the meals and snacks they receive throughout the day. Honestly, if one of my boys isn’t interested in dinner after daycare, I don’t stress about it because I know they’ve already had their fair share of nutritious and yummy foods throughout the day.

I especially want to recognize the amazing team at the Madison Heights location. Alia, now the center director, was one of the first teachers we met in the infant room in 2023 and is truly meant to work with children. She has a calm, caring presence and leads with both professionalism and heart. You can find the assistant director, Miss. Kyleigh, at the front desk most mornings and is always kind, helpful, and welcoming. We are also so grateful for Miss Ashley, Miss Maral, Miss T’Azia, Miss Nevaeh, Miss Lacey, Miss A’myah, and Miss Megan for the love and care they’ve shown our boys over the years.

These incredible teachers fully engage with the kids, whether they’re riding bikes, leading activities, or simply making them feel special. My 3yo is so excited to go to school every morning because he can’t wait to see his teachers, especially Miss Nevaeh. As a parent, there is no better feeling than knowing your child is excited to be somewhere.

Choosing childcare is one of the hardest decisions a parent can make. Joyful Jungle has made that decision easier every single day. We have attended events at the Clawson location and have had wonderful experiences there as well, but Madison Heights is our home. Joyful Jungle has given our family so much more than childcare. They have given us trust, support, peace of mind, and a community that genuinely cares about our children.

“We have had an amazing experience at Childtime Grosse Pointe Woods. Ms. Kerry and Ms. Serena have gone above and beyond to make sure our daughter is learning and meeting all her milestones. Our daughter turned 2 this past week and comes home singing songs she learned at school, can say the alphabet and count to 10. She knows all animal sounds and is getting to know her colors and shapes. We appreciate the notifications from the Sprout About App throughout the day and the updates from Ms Kerry and Ms Serena on how our daughter’s day went.

Just wanted to add an update to this review, that my daughter has moved from Toddler 1 Room to the Twos Room and the teachers in the Twos Room (Ms. Kathy, Ms. Celeste, and Ms. Valerie) are just as amazing as Ms Kerry and Ms Serena. They have helped immensely with potty training our 2 year old and with dropping the pacifier at nap time. I can’t thank them enough for their dedication, patience, and kindness.”
