“Given that most people expect to have bad experiences with USPS, I thought I would share the great experience I had with this post office. I recently had a local move within Toledo, and there were a number of complications with my forward mail request, in part because I had just ordered a passport and didn't want it to get slowed down during mail forwarding. All the folks I interacted with here went above and beyond to help me with these complications. What I found especially impressive is how much they remembered about my situation each time I called or came in. It just showed that they actually cared and wanted to help. They were also just very friendly and cheerful. They made my move less stressful :-D”
“Kudos to the entire staff at the Lewis road location. I recently ordered two packages and both were not only handled with care, but most importantly left precisely where I wanted them to be. I reside in a two unit dwelling, and more often than not delivery instructions are not followed according to those that I give. The package ends up at my neighbor's doorstep, and God only knows what happens to them. Only USPS can deliver on time, with care and professional courtesy exactly where you want the package to be when it arrives! Bless all of you, stay safe, stay healthy.. all of us appreciate what you do everyday all day long!”
“*Update* on my previous 2 star review.I received a call from the Erie st.USPS manager regarding my certified letter that was never redelivered. I sent an email to USPS she called me the same day,was very polite, knowledgeable and even offered to look into the issue herself.I really appreciate a business that cares about their customers! “i went to pick up my mail in the middle of a HUGE mail mix-up, the woman working the counter was SO kind and SO helpful. she went out of her way to make sure i get my package even calling people at other stations to ask them about it. thank you SO much!! give this woman a raise!! LOL”

“Had to go into the post office today because of an issue with a package of my sons' that was being returned back to him due to an issue with the address. The lady at the counter, whose name is Lisa, was very polite, and understanding and went thru everything with us on how and when the package would be returned. She also let us know that we didn't have to pay anything, like we thought, and that she would be checking the tracking number for us tomorrow. She definitely went above and beyond to help us, and we couldn't thank her more. We left there today feeling much better than when we went in, and will definitely be visiting there again in the future.”
“This office is staffed by one ass-kicking woman, who (at least in my experience) is always polite, friendly, and helpful. I dropped packages off here routinely for years, every one got scanned correctly and delivered on time.”

“For several years our family used the Manhattan Boulevard branch before it closed in March 2015. I'm glad the blue mailboxes are still conveniently there to mail letters and small packages with prepaid labels affixed. Anyhoo fast forward to November 2015 the mailman left a peach slip left inside our mailbox. The following day I went to this post office location for the very first time to pickup a package that required a signature. The man behind the counter had a pleasant demeanor which is always refreshing. Extra Note: They are closed and hour for lunch between 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM.”
“Being new to the zip code, this was my first experience with this post office location. There was a mistake made with start date of my hold mail request. I called the post office and spoke to Rachel, who was so friendly and helpful. It was just an honest mistake of a substitute mail carrier. She was able to contact him and he delivered my mail and packages at the end of the route. I had positive encounters with Rachel at the station and the carrier who came back to bring my mail. Truly exceeded my expectations!”

“The lady who works in the office at this location is very personable. Shes knowledgeable about all things related to postal service, she has outgoing personality, speaks to her customers like they are family. She will go above and beyond to make sure her customers are taken care of. Anytime I have an issue I call and my issues handled with care and concern. This is my favorite location I live miles away but travel here anytime I need to go in to the office because I know it will be the best service.”
