I went there ready to pay for it to be fixed, but he assured me that the car was in okay condition for it's age and I was just getting more "in-tune" with my car. He could have made some money, but opted for honesty and told me to come back if anything else happened. So far so good and its been a few weeks now.”

They did testing first and isolated the problems and had all the gear/equipment on their work truck to fix my well/water issues on this first and only visit. “Eric Mathieson runs Mathieson Automotive like he wants to be your mechanic for life. Eric is honest and trustworthy and has saved me and my father in-law many hundreds of dollars over the years. Not a doubt in my mind, he'll do the same for you. A good mechanic like Eric is hard to find in this price-gouging world today. I can't recall the specifics of all of our past repairs with Eric, but here is the latest TRUE STORY: My father in-law's car hadn't been driven in 7 months (he was living out of town for the winter and spring), and when I drove it for the first time, I would have sworn his brakes were shot. They were making a lot of noise and felt like they were grinding and pulling unevenly. Eric did a full inspection of the brakes and more and concluded that all was good (the brake pads were just mucked up with oxidation from sitting so long). He cleaned off what he could and said the rest would wear off with a little use. His bill: ZERO, NOTHING $0.00! And despite our protests, he absolutely refused to take any money at all. What kind of mechanic is this?? In my book, he's the kind of mechanic I can trust. Sorry, Eric, for the long overdue kudos - I thought for sure I'd already reviewed your business. Hey Escanaba, if you want to keep your car and your wallet in good shape, better call Eric!!”

Our camp is over an hour away and each year, Steve delivers our pontoon and picks it up in the fall, so we don't have to own a trailer. He will even will take it thru 2 channels to our dock if we want. Danny was very fun and easy to deal with. He even sold me two sea kayaks that were not for sale as I really wanted them and gave me a great deal. Richards Boatworks is a great place to use if you have a boat.”
