“I understand appointments can run behind, and that wasn’t my issue. My issue was that I waited over 45 minutes without even being checked in. When I asked for help, I was brushed off while other customers continued to be checked in. Thankfully, Carlos noticed something wasn’t right, immediately took my keys, and had my tire balance finished in about 20 minutes. That tells me the problem wasn’t the wait—it was that I had never been properly checked in. Carlos provided excellent customer service and completely turned the experience around. I hope management recognizes employees like him and makes sure every customer is acknowledged and checked in promptly.”
“Scott and Tim both are extremely honest, stand up guys that really care about getting your vehicle fixed properly and promptly. They strive to get your car to you as soon as possible and make sure to put it through lots of testing after the repair. I have had manifold replacement, exhaust work, oil pan replacement, sensor diagnosis, bearing work and alignments done on many different vehicles through them. These guys always figure out the issue and will always give you an honest report. I have had work quoted elsewhere, but it always ends up being a no brainer to choose Scott due to their significantly lower costs. Mechanics like these two are tough to find these days.”

“I don't usually leave good reviews, but this one is a must. Mike, one of the mechanics found out quick the issues with my car, a bad control arm, that other 3 shops couldn't diagnose. One of the wheels was wobbling and I went two 3 shops and they all said it's because of the tire which was worn up on one side. No one actually diagnosed for me that the uneven wear comes from a loose mechanical important safe keeping part that could've put me or someone else in danger. Also, Chris worked out a finance deal for me for 6 months where I don't have to break the bank right away. All in all, amazing experience.”
“Best price I found for a used tire, and I'd called 2-3 other places before Detroit Tire and Wheel. I talked to Sam at their 96/Grand River location. He gave me a very reasonable price! I was actually looking for their Grand River/Lahser location, but Sam told me the other location would accommodate me.....and they did! The Lahser location is run by Bill, and he honored the quote Sam gave me. My tire was installed and I'm back on the road! VERY much worth the trip, time and money........”
“One of the new Assistant Managers Bryce helped me today 8/10/2026 on a very busy Monday morning. I actually went to another Discount Tire first that did not want to honor the warranties I took out with the company and only covered one tire. Bryce was professional; he was courteous, gave me refreshments, my wait time was reasonable and in total today I bought three brand new tires, all with warranties through Discount Tire of Novi. In my opinion Novi is the best location and I’ve even referred my own family members to their store.”

“I called Discount Tire & Braylon Ambs answered the phone & I told him that I needed a tire placed on a rim even though they closed at 6 he told me to come on in. When I got there he told me that the tire that I had was no good & he got me a new tire that didn’t break the bank & he personally did the work on my car. He is truly a man of God!!!! And I really appreciate him he went above & beyond. I owe this young man some lunch. He truly came though for me. He deserves a RAISE!!!!”
