“Dr Juan Alvarado is the best optometrist I have ever been. I am 62 and have worn glasses since I was 6. He was the first Dr to see within 2 seconds that I had an eye disease called Fuchs Dystrophy. He said that is in the cornea, the first part of the eye that any Dr would have to look through to do any exam, but nobody had seen it. I was going to Michigan Eye Institute on Linden Rd for ongoing eye problems andthey only said I had dry eye. The other big eye center on Gateway Center off Hill Rd Flint evaluated me for cataracts and didn't say anything. Dr Alvarado sent me right to Kellogg Eye Center in Ann Arbor. If I had cataract surgery it would have deteriorated the cornea where I would have had to have cornea transplant immediately. Do yourself a favor and just see Dr Juan Alvarado at Fenton Vision.”
