My roommate had ordered something but the shipping label fell off her package and got stuck to this package... so it was delivered to us.I took the package to the post office and the label for my roommate's. “The gentleman behind the counter was great! I had a package coming from Amazon that was supposed to have been delivered to my house today. When I checked on the status, it said the package was being held at the post office awaiting my pickup, per my request. I never requested for my package to be held.
I went to the post office to pick up my package, but it was not there. Even the P.O.'s system said the package was there, but, alas, it was not. The gentleman then got on the phone and tracked down the carrier to see what had happened. I left, having been told that the package would be there at the P.O. the following morning. A few hours later, I received notification that the package had now been delivered to my residence. Apparently, the gentleman got hold of the carrier and had them deliver today, as it was originally scheduled.
This gentleman went out of his way, understood and appreciated my frustration, and made things right.
