She got us in the same day, and from the moment we walked in the door they were so kind and helpful!
They trimmed her up nicely and her coat was so soft after!
As a business owner the difference between gaining a new client could be as simple as showing kindness, and showing you care.

My Groomer
6112 Coldwater Rd, FlushingWent there for the first time today. She was extremely personable and you could tell she actually loved animals. My dog Brodys groom was super simple but he came back with no loose fur or anything on him which we normally still have after a groom somewhere else. He looks, feels and smells amazing and wasn't at all scared when I picked him up so she obviously took good care of him!

I was nervous with this being a brand new dog groomer I’ve never been to, my dog is VERY anxious with new people but she seemed happy when I picked her up and Lisa gave her a bandana and a treat for the ride home! The location was clean and smelled clean as well which is really important. Overall I was very happy with this groomer and will be back!

Cops & Robbers Ice Cream & Gifts
323 E Main St, FlushingWe stopped by Cops & Robbers Ice Cream tonight and had a really enjoyable experience. They have a great selection of ice cream with plenty of options to choose from, so it’s easy to find something you’re in the mood for.
The setting is part of what makes this place special. There’s a large wraparound porch with lots of seating, perfect for hanging out and people-watching. It’s fully accessible too, with a wheelchair ramp for easy entry. Inside, they also have handmade gifts and little items to browse, which adds to the charm.
The vibe feels very small-town in the best way. It’s clearly a local hangout spot, with teens and families coming through, people riding bikes, and just a relaxed, community feel overall. Plus, there are other restaurants within walking distance, so it’s a nice area to spend some time.
The only downside is the pricing. For a root beer float and a single scoop in a cup, we paid over $14, which felt a bit steep for what we ordered.
That said, the staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was great, and it’s a fun place to visit. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Flushing and looking for a classic local ice cream stop.
