“My father has been a long-time customer, and one of the managers, Giovanni, has converted me too. I went in looking for a gift for a friend, and Giovanni pin-pointed great selections for me based on the criterion I gave him. The owners have developed quite the network with distillers and other artisans to not only provide intimate knowledge on the products they sell, but to offer more exclusive and interesting products as well. They didn’t try to push the most expensive or flashiest bottle onto me, but directed me towards scotches and bourbons that were both within my budget as well as extraordinarily enjoyable. I will be returning soon.”

“I frequent this store daily, sometimes two or three times a day. I walk in today, and got told by Jimmy, the owner, that he has shawarma now. me, being a foodie, I'm like, I'll take one with everything. let me be the first to say, absolutely spot on!! the flavor, the salad, garlic, all of it is fresh, and taste phenomenal. I don't have to drive downtown to get it anymore.”

“I’ve been here a handful of times and the staff are usually great but today I bought a 6 pack of Oberon and the total came to $23. I said, “damn for a 6 pack” and the guy said “wait hold that’s wrong” and he scanned it again and it was $13. He then said “sorry about that” but offered no explanation as to why the first time the price was $10 more. It’s not like he scanned it twice the first time cuz the total wasn’t doubled. Very strange, glad I said something, and it makes me question the integrity of this place. Check your prices before purchasing and at the cashier!

“Wonderful spot for your go to alcohol needs. The staff is extremely helpful and always kind. Seriously- we were looking for a 500mL beer to chug for a fantasy football draft order, and the guys were helping my husband look through their selection. We found one, and had a nice chuckle. Support local!! They have an excellent selection of vodka, tequila, bourbon and I’m sure more (these are my go tos). Stop by!”

Recently I approached the owner and asked if it was possible for him to locate a TEQUILA that I CAN NOT find in Michigan anywhere. “Nice convenient store in Detroit, located on the City's westside. You can purchase tabacoo, beer, wine, or your choice of spirit (liquor) and play the lottery. The store is also known for its delicious food. They have a menu consisting of pizza, chicken, potato wedges, garlic bread, and pop. The food line sometimes may crowd the store but it moves fast and its just that delicious. The employees are tge most friendly and attentive people you'll ever meet. I go here on a regular!”

“Went to share how exceptional the customer service was and saw this review and wanted to laugh because this customer had to of gone in there with problems of his own and tried to make it their problem. Ive been here so many times and watched them greet so many different customers, including myself and they will go above and beyond to help you. Theyre kind, patient, unbaised, and will defend anyone who is being disrespected in any way shape or form. It’s unfortunate that he had a bad day, i do truly feel bad for him and hope he cheers up and goes back and truly gives this place the chance it deserves because this the best liquor store i’ve been to, and not just michigan but nationally. Please do yourself a favor and go visit this store yourself and you will never want to go anywhere else.”
