“You know, at first glance, Gene's might not seem like anything super special. However, consider all the cold, sterile, fully automated stores you visit today - no heart, no character - just, "Move along bi-pedal number. Get your items, give us your money and leave."This is NOT Gene's. The heart is there, the character is there. A real butcher and deli section. A corkboard up front to advertise your trailer, motorbike (or just about anything) for sale (how often do you still see that these days?!) Some really good sales items which the advertise clearly on the sign in the parking lot. Exotic items as well as down to earth favorites. I've NEVER had an instance where employees were rude or unhelpful.”
