“What a pleasant experience. The plaza was extremely clean and bright. Upon entering the women's restroom I was greeted by a custodial woman meticulously cleaning the sinks while softly singing. It was so nice to see someone doing their best at a job and actually enjoying doing it. Then, the cashier at 7 eleven went out of her way to be helpful and friendly; talking to us about our journey and wishing us a safe drive. Great job Wilbur Shaw Travel Plaza! Thank you for making us feel so welcome in Indiana.”

“Great place to get gas. If you use PayPal, you can save 15 cents off per gallon every time. South Bend Phillips on Highway 2 is usually 8 to 20 cents cheaper than La Porte. I got gas in South Bend for $3.09 per gallon not too long ago.”

I don't particularly like hot dogs, and I normally wouldn't be caught dead eating gas station food, but DANG something about the food here is so good. “I love this place we go all the time they have wifi there's a cemetery near by (lovely place) never had a problem with the people or anyone cops and people working on the road get drinks and stuff from them there's one lady there who is amazing she needs a raise she has brown hair and loves using pet names (the best employee fr give her a raise!)”

“Very nice traveling center with not only rest area for trucks but also has charging station for electric cars from Tesla and EVConnect . Even bathroom has preserve water flushing system . Plenty nice shops inside. Mail box in case you need it .”

“Stopped for a small bag of ice. They had an issue where the freezer containing the small bags was frozen closed. Not one, but two employees helped me try and get it figured out. They were unable to get the freezer open and gave me a large bag for the small price. That's what I call service. Find a reasonable solution that solves the problem and takes care of the customer. All set for my trip!”

“Not sure why the complains?? Its a small and local business with friendly stuff and owners. Prices are the same like everywhere else. Yes they have limited stuff and hours. Its not Wal-Mart. Get used to it. Seeing the locals having coffee or beverages, reminds me of the good old days. When everybody knew each other and cared for each other.”
