“I want to leave this comment because I know it might serve as a guide for another mom when looking for a preschool in the area. When I was searching for a school for my first and only child, I came across so many options and very few ways to verify the credibility, reputation, or even history of the childcare centers. DELC was one of the first places I visited, and I was immediately impressed. However, at that time, my son wasn’t potty trained yet, and the program I was interested in required it. While we worked toward that milestone, I enrolled him in another nearby center. Even though I didn’t know much about the dynamics at DELC, I just knew there was something better out there, and that my son wasn’t thriving where he was (he was getting sick every week). That became a constant source of worry, so I decided to withdraw him.

Once he was almost fully potty trained, I spoke with Miss Sandra, and they agreed to accept him. I can honestly say that from day one, the peace of mind I felt leaving my son in DELC’s care remained constant throughout the two full years he was there. Since starting at DELC, the frequency of his illnesses dropped by 98%, thanks to the place’s incredible cleanliness. My son didn’t speak a single word of English at first, and today, I can say he’s bilingual. With love and patience, Miss Stacy and the entire staff helped dissolve my biggest fear. My son quickly adapted to the environment.

Every activity, celebration, and important milestone was highlighted in the most beautiful way by the entire staff. I am so thankful to Miss Sandra and Miss Stacy for all the support she gave us during this time, the understanding and dedication they have here is unmatched. DELC didn’t just become a safe place for my child, they became part of our family. I would recommend this place a million times over, and if I were to have another child, I would enroll them here without a second thought. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ We will miss you ?”

“My son joined KinderCare in preschool . He loved Ms. Vijaya and Rebecca were the best teachers.. accommodating and always making sure that everyone gets equal attention. GSRP program with KinderCare was a wholesome experience. Ms. Julie, Zoey and Vidya are great. My son learnt a great deal and I could see the progress first hand. I am very happy and satisfied with my son’s progress with KinderCare. The overall environment is very positive and conducive for learning. The directors Crystal and Morgan are always on top of things and with low to no teachers turnover I would definitely recommend this location. The team makes sure this place is safe and everyone feels welcome.”

“Honestly, there's not enough good things to say about McKinley. My son was in the 4yr class and Mrs. Erin was phenomenal. She's kind, patient, loving towards the kids and such a great teacher. “Couldn’t be happier with my experience at KinderCare! My daughter has been going there since she was 7 weeks old and she is now 2. We have had great experiences in both the infant and toddler rooms. My daughter looks forward to going to school and she is greeted by name by all the staff. Lisa, the director, has been great as well and is always responsive to questions/concerns. I LOVE that there is an app that gives photos and updates on eating/sleeping/etc throughout the day so I can see how my daughter is doing. I highly recommend KinderCare in Southgate!”

“I take my son here and he is doing so well. I had taken him to another daycare previously that he never wanted to go to. Here he loves going. The teachers, owner and director are all absolutely amazing and extremely kind people. You feel like you’re leaving your child with family. They are extremely interactive with the kids and send you a ton of pictures throughout the day so you know how your child is. Cannot recommend enough!”

“Both of my kids have been coming here since 18 months and 14 months respectively. They both started in the toddler rooms and my oldest now at 4.5 years old is in their pre-school program.

I have not had any major complaints at all here. The teachers, Ms. Savannah, and Ms. Carrie genuinely seem to care to take care of your child and help with their development. I love how they offer organic food with options for dietary restrictions and they are only closed on major holidays.

Whenever we did have an issue (ie a child biting my girls often or a diaper not getting changed right away), they always did improve their ways to ensure it didn’t happen again.

My youngest one is a little clumsy and falls often. They always call me and assure me on how she is doing which I love.

I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a safe and happy place to keep your child.”

“I want to preface this review by saying that I would LOVE to give 10 stars, because that’s what I truly feel this deserves! But with google only allowing me to give 5, I suppose that will have to do!

As an early childhood special education teacher myself, I had high expectations for what I wanted in a childcare center. IXL met every single one of them, and then some!!! From the directors (who are both AMAZING), to the lead and assistant teachers, and even the substitute teachers (Ms. Sue I’m looking at you!) I can confidently say that every single person had a vested interest in the success, care, and well being of my children.

The curriculum at IXL is top notch, with my 5 year old entering kindergarten knowing all of his letters and most of his sounds. The communication is great, with an app that allows you to see photos of your child’s day as well as what they ate, how long they slept, diaper changes, etc!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this daycare! Leaving your kiddos is always tough, but I would 1,000 times over leave my two boys in the care of the lovely folks at IXL Northville!!”

“We brought our kids here after a bad situation at another daycare. Our daughter was triggered and could not regulate her emotions anymore. Paige and the other staff have been amazing! They worked with her on different coping skills advised by her therapist and she went onto kindergarten this fall. She had a hard time trusting non-parental adults and Maybury helped her to know they were going to protect her feelings. She's a completely different child now, it's amazing how much a child can decline in a bad environment in such a short time. It's also amazing how much they can thrive and succeed in a healthy environment. I know she was a handful, but thank you guys for being willing to accept her, love her, and help her out of this.”

“My son started summer 2023 and remained for about a year after. He initially was enrolled because of his language delay and wanting to socialize him. This past year his speech has increased and he has created his first batch of friends. The teaches have always been so attentive and supportive especially during the rough patches with his behavior. “Ms. Shirl Combs is a W O N D E R F U L early childhood teacher. I know this because she was my kindergarten teacher, turned mom ? she has impacted my life tremendously and welcomed me into her family! She is very dedicated and big on grammar and spelling, understands how to teach respect to children and does it in the most fun ways! If she wasn’t in my life to teach me I honestly don’t know where I would be. If I had a 4 year old she would be the first person I would send them to. Ms. Combs is the definition of Safe. If you do have a 4 year old enroll them in Childtime of Dearborn and ask for Ms. Shirl Combs your children will grow up and be something great like I am today.
Let’s not forget Mrs. Fayeza and Mrs. Rose they are awesome team players!”
