Gets 2 stars for getting me in for an appointment. And prescribing me vital medication needed.As for care, horrible experience with a female doctor. Only to find even more horrible notes she put in my eChart without even consulting concerns with me during my appointment.I moved here out of state and am struggling to find a provider accepting new patients.Trying an NP at this office and hoping for a better experience.

I've been going here for 20 years. I've had nothing but positive experiences with the staff. From the front desk ladies to the nurses to the doctors, they've all been great.If one of us needs to be seen quickly, they will do their best to get us in. They respond in a timely manner to questions on MyChart.

Horrible “urgent care” facility if you can even call it that. Don’t come here unless you want to wait 2 hours just to get checked in and wait when there are 5 people ahead of you. Front desk lady was also super slow at her job, seems like only one doctor is looking at patients. Wish I went down the road to a place that gets me in and out in under an hour.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ritsema’s for 27 years. He is the kindest most caring Dr I have ever seen. (And I have seen many). He makes you feel like you are his #1 priority every time you see him. He listens well, and truly cares about his patients. I will continue having him as my Dr until he retires. Then I will be super sad. He is definitely the best Dr for family care. All Dr’a should strive to be more like him.

A couple of the Docs are great...including Dr. Henne. I LOVE the front desk ladies :) Usually have friendly/helpful customer service with the phone triage. For the first time, in about 20+ years of dealing with this office...Today, I was sent a VERY ridiculous message in my patient portal, from a Medical Assistant. I could not, and still cannot believe how she was talking to me. Disrespectful! I called, and complained...suddenly the message she sent "magically" disappeared. (This MA is not a situation related to Dr. Henne)

I recently debrief to switch doctors. Mainly because this office is so close to my house. Had my first visit today and it all went well. It was easy to schedule an appointment. The person at the front desk was friendly. The doctor spent some time talking to me. It was a good experience.

Doc. is good , but the staff needs a lot of work. They seem to be inexperienced and making Doctors decisions. That is wrong and risky. Maybe there is a lack of Doctors, many did leave.

Doctors and nurses are awesome. Front desk sucks. Ive called there, been on hold for 45 mins, drove there still on hold and they were talking while i stood there on my phone with them. It should not take that long to answer a phone for scheduling an appointment. Most people have to do that while they are at work on a break. These old ladies behind that desk think their job is a break. My wife is trying to make an appointment right now and shes been on hold for 30 mins. I just drove by there and there arent more than 5 cars there.P.S. been a patient here for 30 years.

Honestly, if people are complaining about waiting, then it's because they're incredibly impatient people. The wait here is no longer than any other office. Please don't listen to the one-star reviews...they are absolutely pathetic & dramatic, to say the least.The doctors here & the on-site therapist are super nice, caring and compassionate for your health. Honestly, they probably helped save my life because of my situation. Make sure you plan to get your schedule down ahead of time, sometimes they can have a heavy workload. Love this building.

Emily Schippers and Kara Taylor are my physicians and I couldn’t ask for anyone better. I switch every visit. They are caring and they don’t rush to get to the next patient. If you need your time, they will give you that. They both listen to you and I have never felt judged or uncomfortable. I highly recommend them both if your looking for a female doctor.

I have been going here for some years now. The staff is helpful and prompt, nurses and doctors are friendly and professional. Dr. Tanya Vreke is awesome and I look forward to my yearly visits with her – she is kind and makes me feel comfortable, doesn't rush, and she is always able to help with any health issues I have. She's the best!

I walked in around 8:45 AM on Tuesday morning with my doctor's lab orders in hand. It was a welcoming and friendly experience...with absolutely no waiting at this particular time. Phlebotomists Renee and Kelli were so informative and patient. My doctor ordered 19 labs which required 11 tubes. Although they tried a butterfly (which never works on me) ultimately they pulled all 11 tubes directly. Thank you Renee for having steady hands and patiently inserting/replacing all those tubes so smoothly. 5 stars for their service, one star off for now until I know my doctor in Grand Haven successfully receives the results.
