You definitely should bring your car here. Let me tell you how awesome this guy is (he's a gentle giant type). In November of 2021, I parked my car (Town & Country, an older model) in the parking lot of Five Guys in Grandville. After I got done eating, I went to start my car and go home. But the car would not start, it wanted to but just wouldn't.
To make a long story short, I had my car towed from shop to shop to shop to shop using all of my AAA tows (including to Midas and a Dodge dealer) and finally I found out that the computer went bad and because my van is too old, its computer is no longer made. But a mechanic at 1 shop told me he knows a guy who could get the computer to work again. That guy was Scotty in Hudsonville. I had my car towed to Scotty's shop and thank God he fixed it. Now, 3 years later my car is still running perfect with 440k miles on it. Please bring all your cars to this very talented guy.

We had a difficult diagnosis to be done on one of our 16 vehicles. If we could give extra credit stars we would. They were able to find the intermittent problem, fix that, and fixed more. The price was more than fair and they communicated every step. With experience having 16 vehicles to take care of we highly suggest using Scotty. Scott does a great job figuring out vehicle troubles. He is honest and dependable. It is comforting for me to know that I can send my youngest daughter to him and know that he is not going to charge her for unnecessary work.I have taken several vehicles to Scotty's and I always get a call when he said he would call. He will give me a time the car will be finished and it has alway been finished in the time he said. His prices are fair and his shop is clean. I highly recommend Scotty's Auto Service.

Several brake warning lights were lit up on the dash on my 2006 Toyota Avalon. Brakes worked fine. Of course, cruise control would not engage. Had a very bad experience at a Toyota dealer in Arlington, Virginia. Charged $1,800 and fixed nothing. A friend told me to go to Scotty's. We did and he expertly identified the problem and fixed it for about 1/4 of the dealer's "nonfix". Go to Scotty's . . .Service: General repairs & maintenance

Tried to use them. Thought I had an appointment in 2 days. Called to confirm and I wasn't on the schedule. And told they are 2 weeks out. Glad nobody cares about customer service anymore.

Scotty's was able to replace a faulty PCM in my 2009 Ford Flex. They did a great job. Was told it took some persistence and effort.

I had my 14 Silverado to 2 different mechanics in the area and I received an incorrect diagnosis both times, (which I knew was wrong). I took it to Scottys and he figured it out on the first try. I dropped my vehicle off in the morning and it was done before I got out of work. An additional mechanic in the area also recommended to me that I go to Scotty's, I think that says all you need to know about the quality of work and knowledge of vehicle maintenance that they have at Scotty's.
