The absolute best place to take your bike! In June, my purple bike had a flat tire due to a nail, then a week later the rear axel broke. They fixed everything right on the spot and were so incredibly helpful. About three weeks ago, I was riding it and it felt funny. There was a large crack on the frame. I took it into the shop and they said it was unfixable, but there were options. I was devastated. However, they told me that the bike was under warranty and contacted the manufacturer. They no longer made the same bike, but was willing to replace the bike. That would take a few weeks to receive the new bike. In the meantime, I borrowed a bike from my parent’s to ride. During that time, I had not only one, but two flats in the span of 24 hours! Thankfully those are fixable and they fixed them right away! Tonight, I took my first ride on my new bike and it was glorious! I am so grateful for Village Bike!

Came in lookong for a new bike rack And even though this place is a lot more affordable than other places. I don't like that, the guy was more Just trying to make a sale, not be very helpful. Also, any other bike place would assembled my bike rack for free? And put it on but not here.... They handed me the heavy box and said have fun!!!! I'm not happy about it..

bought a $2k bike from the Jenison store last spring. Always had a creaking sound when riding and drove me crazy. Had my bike back to the shop several times and they told me the pedals were making the creaking sound. 3 sets of pedals later (under warranty) and the sound persists. Finally got sick of it and told them I thought it was the bottom bracket. They told me I'd need to wait 3 weeks for an appointment and I'd have to pay for the work even though it was happening from day one and I felt should have been covered under the warranty period. I emailed the Village bike shop from their "contact me" website and explained my situation. They didn't even respond to my email. So, if you are looking for good service and competence you may want to look else where .

I got new tubes put on my bike at the end of the season last year. I rode it once this year and the tires lose air. This is the reason I paid them to put new tubes in. I called and basically was told too bad, you need to pay again to have it redone. They told me I must have popped both tubes. Makes zero sense.I’ve decided to youtube it and do it myself. Big waste of money.

I honestly love pretty much every bike shop, but Village has always been my favorite. I normally visit the Kentwood store but ask the locations are great.

I recently bought a new gravel bike from here. I looked at several different bike stores and here had the best customer service and options. I was able to test ride several bikes so that I could find the right fit for me and eventually ordered a bike through the store. Thank you for such amazing customer service!

I had a squeaking noise coming from my bottom bracket and they were able to diagnose it and get one on order for me.I also came in to talk to someone about getting a more comfortable ride going long distance and I had someone who answered all my questions and gave me some great recommendations. Great place and great service.

Was looking to switch from an old mountain bike to a hybrid. Started out doing my research online at their website. Ended up at the Jenison store due to in stock XL frames. Got to compare a Giant to a Specialized. Josh was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. They set up the Specialized bike and I took it with me. Great selection and helpful sales and service. I love my new bike!

First time bringing my bike in for service. Appointment was two weeks out, which was pretty great for timing and the fact that it was a rare sunny 65 day in Jenison. Happy to get it scheduled. Even happier with the communication regarding what needed to be repaired. Did an ' Advanced Tune Up' Mike called and explained everything that needed to be done, if there were any additional parts or costs. Bike came out great. Even chatted about our love for Steel Frame and how much flack we get (still a great ride! Loved the service, communication and the finished productThanks Mike & VillageJamis Renegade S4

Not a very good experience with his shop. Brought my Specialized bike in for service (bought it new from them one year ago). The first two or three weeks they had my bike, communication was good. From there, no contact unless i initiated. They ended up having my bike for 10 weeks. The last approval I gave them was for $625 worth of repairs on my bike. I called the middle of November and was told parts were on backorder. Not hearing anything i called back in the beginning of December and was told it would be ready soon, they had just ordered some part the other day. I was not happy.,., just ordering parts after they had the bike for over 8 weeks at this point. Last week (2nd week of December) they called and said my bike was ready. I went to pick it up and the bill was $1025. I never authorized more than $625. I should have not paid them, but i did. Not a good experience at all... save yourself some pain and pick a different shop to take your bike too. Even if the repairs they did to my bike don't work out... i won't bring it back to this shop. I've veen a customer of Village Bike for over 20 years and have never had a bad experience. They are knowledgeable, friendly and always very helpful. I love my new Specialized Crossroads comfort bike. I highly recommend Village Bike for all your cycling needs. You can't go wrong!

My wife was in the market for a new bike. We went to Village Bike & Fitness in Grandville where I bought my bike a few years ago, and had a very positive experience. We were promptly greeted and shown all the bikes that fit the criteria she had in mind. (Including bikes still in boxes in the back.) As it turned out, the bike she thought she liked was at another store still in the box. They transfered the bike over to Grandville, assembled it, and she was able to test ride it within a couple of days. We bought the bike and after riding it at home noticed a squeak. We took it back and their technician (who is very funny) knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it while we waited. (About 90 seconds) We highly recommend this shop for new bikes and accessories. (Except during pandemics.... but our experience then was a nation wide experience.)Dan and Renee
