“I come to this hotel every year. I believe this is my fourth year here. Great quiet place to stay. Always clean. They service the rooms and the staff are very friendly. This is my go to hotel for Escanaba ☺”

“The kind of hotel I have enjoyed with friends while out riding over the years the young lady at the desk was very nice, the room was very clean and looked like it had some remodeling done in the past and it smelled so nice. I would stay there again in a heartbeat”

“I had a great experience while staying there. Being that it was a historic hotel was amazing and the staff were fantastic. Definitely would love to stay again in the future!”
“Located right outside of town. It offers a decent sized poop and hot tub as well as a sauna. Continental breakfast is included inside a large meeting room down by the pool. I heard there was a room on that end also set up as a workout room but I forgot to check that out. Large parking lot that was plowed well. Walkways were shoveled really well. Very clean inside. Washer and drier on site to use. Updated rooms that look super nice. We had a king bed with a couch in the room along with a table, mini fridge, and coffee pot. The bathroom was huge and nice as well. Was a decent temp inside in general especially with it being so frigid cold outside. We only experienced one issue during our stay. We needed some more towels (not a big deal at all) so we went to find a housekeepers as it was only about 1230/1 so they were still cleaning rooms. We caught the blonde girl, I believe her name was Diamond, vaping in one of the rooms, and when we asked ablut getting more towels she rolled her eyes and seemed rather unimpressed that we asked her for some. Other than that the stay was great. The other workers we encountered were super nice. One worker I believe his name was Conrad chatted with me outside almost every day of my stay and was all around super kind and helpful about any questions I asked him. We had some nice conversations. We need more friendly workers in the workforce.”
“Basic hotel commodities, clean and convenient location. Served breakfast but, it was very basic... bagels, toast, tiny muffins, cereal, make your own waffles and coffee. At the time we were here the sauna was out of order. Staff was very friendly. I'd stay again.”
“Not a bad place at all. Entryway looks nice. Other parts of the hotel seem to be a little dated. Bring a candle and a wire to place under the shower head, though. It might heat the water a little quicker. Beds are soft for that reason alone I'd stay here again when I'm working in the area.”
“I first stayed at The Terrace in 1978. It was a nice hotel then but it has become an excellent hotel with all the improvements the owners are doing. I stayed in the new building in a lakeside room. Awesome room!
The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the bar is fantastic as is the restaurant, probably the best in the area.
There was only one problem I encountered, the beautiful new walk in shower didn’t have any place to put toiletries…no shelf or cubby. So, for people like me who bring their own stuff it’s not very convenient or user friendly. A small thing but I wanted to mention it.
I’d highly recommend The Terrace if you are planning a trip to the area! It’s an excellent property and getting better every time I visit!”
