“I stopped in to get some keys cut. The key was from and old car and was worn down quite a bit making it difficult to cut. The gentleman who helped me was so patient and took special care to cut it even though the effort probably wasn't worth the very little they charge for keys. I appreciated the time he put into it. This is what makes small-town hardware stores special.”

“Came looking for a part for a Stihl power washer. They didn't have a spare in stock, but said they'd order one. Then they asked if I'd be interested in a similar part if it were compatible, so we went to look at what they had. Nothing they had matched the fitting I had, so they sold me the part I needed off the floor model. I did not expect that at all! Superior customer service and very friendly staff.”
