“This is a great little museum if you're in the Flint area, especially if you have younger children (maybe ages 2 to 6).Pros: This museum has lots of hands-on on, accessible activities. We've been a few times when visiting family in the area and my son (age 4) always finds something to do. His favorite area tends to be the little town play area, which has a kid's size fire truck, post office, grocery store and restaurant. There are also areas for reading, science-oriented exhibits and other hands-on learning experiences. During the summer they also have a fun outdoor area for kids to try additional activities such as water rocket launches. The staff is also very nice and prices are reasonable. Tip: if you live in the area and plan to go more than twice a year, definitely get the family membership. Cons: it's on the smaller side and could be a little less exciting for older children. Bottom line: Definitely a bright spot in the Flint area. A great place to spend a couple of hours, young children will definitely be occupied.”
“Have been here for several events over the years. Never a problem. Always easy to find seats. Just the other day, we were there for the RV Show. Big and spacious. Also, there is plenty of parking.”

“Came here for a wedding on a July weekend! It was beautiful! The staff was pretty nice. It's a very cool spot for a wedding! But wow, that room in the back where all the dancing, and reception happens, is SO HOT. You could walk up the the lobby, bar and bathrooms and it was 30 degrees cooler. I don't think any of the staff noticed or cared how hot it was. They have a few air conditioners on the walls. I looked and all the temps were set in the 70s, no wonder it was so hot!! I turned one of them down into the 60s by our table because we were dying and that did help. Just not sure why I was doing that when someone who worked there should have been managing the temps!”
“Excellent fish fry!! And the choices are unbelievable BUT expect to wait. I will return as it is all fresh food and made to order so worth waiting for a wonderful meal.”
“Loved this season of my life where I was afforded the opportunity to play bingo again. I am not the same person I was years ago and found it hard to keep up. I did win a double line bingo only because it was on the machine and it alerted me to yell out "Bingo!" OH yes, I have to thank the kind young man who helped me through it, as it would have been my youngest son's birthday who was murdered three years ago. Peace!”

“If you're looking for the best BBQ spot in town you've found it. Food is always top of the line as well as the customer service. Please understand the bbq process before being upset if they run out of food. Call ahead it's definitely worth it.”
