“I always enjoy stopping into Baker. I can always count on finding something (usually too many things, haha)! They have a great selection and wide variety of books, fiction and nonfiction. The store is well-organized and clean. The employees are always helpful and usually go out of their way to ask if you’re finding everything alright. I enjoy that they still mail out coupons and a little catalog as well.”
“I used to visit Argos back in the day when we lived in GR, mostly for comic books. When I say 'back in the day'. I mean 1986 - 1989. My go to spots included Argos and Memory Aisle Books - for those GR natives old enough to remember that former used book store. It is wonderful to see that Argos is still open and cruising along. Any person/family who owns, operates, and manages a shop like this truly has their heart invested. I'm sure there's been lots of blood, sweat, and tears (and organizing many stacks of books) along the way. Thanks for keeping this iconic business alive and thriving.”
