The Home Depot in Kentwood is a well-stocked home improvement store serving the Grand Rapids, MI community. It offers a vast selection of tools, appliances, outdoor furniture, building materials, and gardening supplies, catering to various home improvement projects. Customers appreciate the organization of the store, making it easy to find items without needing assistance. Many have found what they needed quickly, often preferring this location over competitors like Lowes. However, experiences with staff can vary; while some employees provide great customer service, others may lack patience and humor when assisting customers, particularly with rental equipment. Overall, it is a typical Home Depot, featuring a large inventory and mixed experiences with employee support. Customers are encouraged to know what they need to make the most of their visit. For expert advice and assistance, the knowledgeable team is ready to help both DIY enthusiasts and professionals alike.
Their dimensional lumber is random length and needs to be cut (free) to length needed. However, be sure to look over the lumber closely for checks and cracks in the center of the board.

I shop here a lot, mainly for tools and garden so I was kinda lost with today’s request, Jim in flooring was a great help to me. Unfortunately I needed a panini press today, and couldn’t wait for the next day-2 delivery. He was really nice and I hope to work with him in the future when that project comes around.
