The pharmacy app is simply junk, here's why. It's unreliable plain and simple. Once again I drove over to Meijers, waited a long time in line, only to be told that I didn't have a prescription waiting. I pointed out the two text messages saying I had a prescription waiting and she said I didn't but that they had put back three prescriptions--I told her that I didn't get a text message for those prescriptions, but I had been waiting for them. This is typical of Meijers prescription app--totally unreliable and untrustworthy. I've dealt with this for years now and they don't seem to fix the app. I spent thousands every year at Meijer, I think it's time to go back to Optum's mail order. Now I've been waiting on hold to complain at the "corporate office"--20 minutes, must be time for their Holiday party.

I stopped by Meijers in Owensboro,Ky to pick up a couple things. Diet cokes was one of those things for a friend of mine. I saw an end cap that had a large sign that said 4 for $5. And on all of the shelves below except the bottom one we 12 packs of mini diet cokes and sprite. Since I don’t buy diet cokes or the mini cans usually I wasn’t sure this was correct but got 4 12 packs anyway. When I got to the self Checkout and they didn’t ring up as such I asked a sweet girl working there to help me and told her what the sign said. She then radioed someone and they told her to do an over ride and give them to me for $5. I thought maybe they were $5 each for a total of $20. Olivia tried to over ride the register and couldn’t do it because it was over the limit of what she could do. At that moment an older lady came walking up to return a cart and Olivia asked her to assist. When the lady heard what the over ride was she immediately got rude and hateful and said “Oh no she is not getting those for that price” I explained to the lady there was a sign and that I thought 4 at $5 each. At that point the older lady said rudely there was no way there was a sign saying that and that they would not have put a sign up like that. I assured her there was and that I was not a liar and she smirked. I then offered to walk back and show her. As we walk all the way back to the back of the store just about she kept making snide demeaning remarks such as “ if they were that price there wouldn’t be any left, everyone would’ve already bought them by this time”. She made several other comments almost as if she was trying to get me to engage in a verbal altercation with her. It was difficult but I did not engage. Instead I just kept telling her to just follow me and I would show her the sign. When we got back there and I showed her the sign she said as if I am stupid. “ Huh that’s for the stuff on the bottom shelf not those cokes. “ I told her that was misleading and no one would have thought that but ok. I got a 12 pack of regular size diet cokes and walked back up to the self checkout. She followed. When we got there she asked what needed to be deleted off my order in a hateful tone and started taking the 4 minis off. Every word that she spoke to me from start to finish was in a hateful tone and degrading manner. At this point I just wanted out of there. When I finally paid and got to my vehicle I cried. For several reasons:1. Because she humiliated me in front of everyone. ( one of my coworkers from the credit union I work at came in at the end and heard her talking to me )2. Because it was so difficult to hold my composure and not engage in a verbal altercation with her.3. Because I was so sad at the thought of what this lady must have endured in her lifetime to make her so hateful and bitter.Needless to say I will not shop at this Meijers store ever again.I would rather stop at a convenience store and pay 3 times the price than have that kind of experience.

Just....HIGHLY Dissappointed..... that ALL I wanted from the current add... was NOT offered at my current store... (and probably NO others)....But I REALLY think... that IF they CANNOT get a particular Pepsi item in stock....BECAUSE ITS A VENDOR ISSUE ???????.......Then they should AT LEAST offer, us to purchase the smaller quantity.........at the COMPARABLE price!!! BUT NO ???......they have to be IDIOTS!!! I will Definitely be making my Future purchases Elsewhere!

Went to alpine location to purchase formula and propel. Get to the formula no 12.4 ounce cans of similac. Read the sign to see that there is a sale if you purchase 4 and regular price save 20 off your next purchase. Perfect I just figured I'll call standale when I get to my car onto the propel. No propel which is a frequent issue but whatever I still had standale I could check. I call Standale and the woman in fashions didn't seem pleased to check if they were in stock for formula but she did none the less. She said they were out so I asked about the previous sale sign at alpine location. She said it was either outdated, misread, or for just that location. I informed her I am highly educated and not a liar and hung up. I called customer service when I got home she informed me of the same thing that it may be just that location sale and I should return and ask for a rain check but I may not receive it because it wasn't a pricing error. How is it just that location if you are out of stock at all locations and she informed me of this.. So I may just waste my time going back. So I called alpine location just to ask about the sign since no one knows about the sale. The lady informed me that I indeed read your sign correctly. So at this point I've been made to feel like I dont know how to read or what I am talking about and I was correct the entire time. At this point I don't think I need to shop somewhere that makes customers feel incompetent.

Despite my first low rating of Meijer, it still is my favorite. Whoever is in charge now is ruining the shopping experience. #1: Too many varieties of products are squeezing out the items I've faithfully purchased for years (some of which are critical for my diabetic and other dietary needs); some just because personal preference. #2: Whoever keeps redesigning the most perfect interactive shopping list should be taken out to the woodshed. The ability to add items as they are needed (ran out, great sale price, recipe need, whatever) and then regrouped for shopping ease has disappeared. #3: Great price only if you buy 2 (or 3 or...) Is asinine if you are a single, elderly , low income customer, you're SOL!

What is the point of a Meijer Perk Card if you don’t even give us any coupons automatically? Your checkout clerks scan the item’s barcode at check-out and Meijer’s knows full-well if there is a coupon out there in the cloud from the manufacturer. Customers’ time is precious and we don’t have time to “electronically clip” your silly coupons. We are tired of playing your silly games. You have the barcode on the product and you scan it, just give us the coupon! This is why I shop at Kroger, instead of Meijer. Kroger gives us the coupons automatically just because we are “valued customers”. And we also have the option to electronically clip more if we have time, which I don’t. Tell your executives to go shop at Kroger to figure out what customers want.

So I tried the Meijer brand chicken noodle soup and it really had a lot to be desired!! It was very gross!!! Noodles were mushy, flavor was really off abd a lot if fat or something floating in it! I'll keep getting the Walmart brand from now on..

This is the 2nd time in 6 months there has been no soap in the bathroom. Most recent was tonight and am employee came out of the stall and walked out without washing hands. I deliver groceries and had chicken juice on my hands and couldn't wash them. Self checkout employee just says that's just awful. NO RESPECT FOR CUSTOMERS!!!!

Upgrades to mperks are anything but. I haven't gotten personalized coupons the past two months. When I scroll through past purchases or items on sale, I get a something went wrong error message. No online receipt for a purchase made a week ago. I can't be the only one having problems.

I'd only give this ONE star (technically would have been zero if that was an option) because Cat was probably the most helpful person I've spoken to regarding the $400 prepaid card that I can't even use. Everyone else I've contacted either did not know what I was talking about and kept directing me to someone who supposedly does but then I get told to call back the store service desk/corporate office. It was an endless loop of doing the same things. I've been waiting nearly two weeks to hear back about anything, $400 is a lot of money to just wait on but it seems like Meijer is either greedy or just doesn't care, I don't know which is worse.

Switched to Meijer because I thought the customer service would be better. I switched all my prescriptions to the new Elkhart location. I have been trying to get the prescriptions for 2 months and have went back in person. Now they tell me they didn't notify me because I didn't sign the consent. YES, I did. I have been in there 3 times to straighten it out. Going back to CVS. Customer service is terrible.

Beware of using mperks - as i had my account hacked - 15k in points were taken and i had a new message popping up on my screens that said "Meijer would like to cut and paste from your mac mini" since i was using my phone i denied this request and called Meijer where they told me don't accept that request - and that it did not come from their app- even though it says Meijer on the request. Also i see that in Dec of 22 Meijer had a data breach which is where my data was likely stolen from Meijer servers.. Meijer has denied any help with credit monitoring. User beware!!

So Meijer has now gone the way of Walmart. Its bad enough that I am expected to scan and bag my own groceries since there are no cashiers on a Sunday afternoon (sorry I didn't get new hire training or an employee discount) but now a corporate decision has employees posted at the door to check the cart/receipt when I leave. Good luck, I suggest having the police on speed dial. if you cant trust me to scan my groceries then hire cashiers and if you want to treat me like I'm shopping at Walmart I might as well take my business there

Organic was rotten one day after purchase. Meijer has always been my favorite but now you rank in the bottom like all the rest! Shame on you and your lack of quality with highest prices!!

I stop by the Meijer gas station in camby indiana everyday on my way to work and for the past few months now they are always out of drinking cups, lids and or straws. I notice that other local stations don't seem to have this problem only Meijer does. Apparently either they have the stuff and don't want to stock the items or the person doing the ordering doesn't know how to order.
