Dianne found a used transfer case for our high milage suburban that was 1/10th of the price of new.. saving us thousands! “Hats off to the guys at Ace Transmission. I had my 91 Chevy into them after 2 other mechanics could not diagnose the issue I was having with an annoying tapping under the hood. Ace inspected the issue to find that the problem was in the starter and not the transmission or the motor! They further inspected the flex plate for damage, thankfully no damage was found!! They called with the diagnosis and for approval before proceeding with any work.
They also found that I was missing a transmission mount?. So not only did they take care of the annoying tapping but they got rid of the mystery vibration too!!!
