“This speedway has gotten a lot better. For years the employees were terrible. They would literally be smoking blunts outside, on their phones chatting with family and friends and telling the customers to, "wait." I see a lot of new faces here, and the experience is much better. Hate spending my money when there are employees like that.”

“I love this place. I have 6 loads washed dried and folded in an hour maybe hour and 15 min. But very clean. Love the no coins. Also I'm wondering how many points u earn per dollar? I'm almost at the 500 points and then I'll get more free money to use on laundry. That's a very nice bonus about this place. Workers always are friendly. Never had a drier that don't get hot enough so that's awesome too. Even on weekends it might be busy but there's plenty of machines to use. Never had an issue here.”

“The washing machines are good, and there is a taco shop that sells very good tacos,But there is a man who seems to be like one of the owners, who when it is his turn to take care of the business, gives terrible customer service to the users, in addition to walking around with a face of terrible humor and an air that believes he is superior to the others. “I go every weekend to dry my clothes. I have always been treated nice and have never had a issue with the owner, employees or the customers. There are times when I have to go elsewhere, but that is because the laundromat is full. I find the staff helpful and always there for it's customers. Remember, this is a business where kids should not be running around jumping and playing on the tables and getting in the way. Plenty of signs to let you know the rules and warnings.”

“our shared dryer suddenly started having issues in the middle of the week and with our landlord not being able to get someone to take a look at it until the following week, we were stuck with needing to find a place to do laundry. when I did a search for laundromats in the GR area, the Michigan Street Laundromat was one of the first to show up with overall good reviews. I decided to give it a chance since it was nearby and according to reviews, wasn't too expensive. the laundromat itself probably hasn't been updated in decades but I feel like that's also just the vibe of all laundromats where you step back into the 90's. the lady that was working the main desk was very kind and when I arrived, there was one other person there. I was able to load up four washing machine (two regular and two 30 pounds) for $17. the drying machines were also another .25¢ per 4 minutes; so $1.25 gets you 20 minutes of drying which I found quite reasonable. I only needed two dryers to dry my four loads. I was able to wash & dry all my loads, fold things, and load everything back into my car, which the lady working was kind enough to help me with, in an hour and a half. was overall very pleased with the laundromat and definitely see myself returning in the future should I run into troubles again!”

“Laundry from .75-1.50, dryers run off a quarter for five minutes. Busy on weekends but I've never had to wait for a machine. Pretty well kept minus the dryer sheets all over but I pick those up”
