Old AuSable Fly Shop is a great and well-stocked fly shop with a very helpful and friendly staff. The gentlemen are outstanding, knowledgeable, and patient, offering honest opinions, great advice, and good info. They provide helpful stream beta, draw maps, and set anglers up with the right flies and gear. The shop has a good selection of materials, accessories, apparel, and equipment. They also offer guided float trips with knowledgeable and enjoyable guides. The staff is remembered for being no hassle and very helpful. It is a perfect fly shop and a great place highly recommended for any fly fisherman heading north.
Great place,very helpful. I haven't fly fished in quite some time. The young guy, Zach was very knowledgeable, and was very patient with me. Gave me great advice to get me started back into it.

Another perfect fly shop, they could tell I was new to the river and set me up with a great mix of flies. Gave me some tips and it paid off, handful of brookies, brown and bows for the weekend. Thanks guys.
