“I love to tour old buildings and this one a gem—just wish I had more time—the 2hour limit wasn’t enough to read all the details in the coach house and check out each room in the mansion. Wanted to listen to each guide but they were very busy.
Certainly would have been a time saver to have the coach house open 30 minutes before the house opened so you could read the history and have your ticket to enter right at the start of the 2 hour period”

“As a wedding photographer, this is a GREAT place for a wedding, especially if it's on the larger side. There is so much space to mingle, the dancefloor is huge, and there's also amazing outdoor spaces (not to mention the docks-- if you're lucky you'll get a banger of a sunset on a clear night!) The staff and food-- also amazing. If you're interested in booking, don't hesitate!”

“A group stay was setup for my family traveling for a funeral through Marne at the front desk and it was great. The location, amenities and service were all amazing. The rooms and lobby were clean and well kept. The breakfast was a good option especially as we headed out in the early morning. I highly recommend this hotel as it is also located near a lot of other great shopping and dining options.”

“We recently had my brother’s wedding at Babylon, and the pictures just don’t do it justice. The hall is absolutely stunning, and Seevan and the team were wonderful to work with. Everything was exactly as discussed and the food was excellent, I wouldn’t change a thing!! The guests couldn’t get enough of everything. Delicious food, STUNNING hall (don’t judge the outside), and wonderful staff. They went above and beyond in everything. Seevan has an eye for making the event beautiful. His placement of the tables, stage, and his recommendations made the wedding stunning. My guests were speechless. I wouldn’t have had it any other way and I hope to be back again. “If you want the best pizza ever and anywhere, this is the place!! Authentic wood fired pizza with a wide range of options and incredible flavours. Any pizza can be adjusted if you are vegetarian. If you are vegan, just bring in your own cheese and they'll make it. (note: pre-covid, they used to carry vegan cheese on hand, so hopefully one day they return to it if the demand is there) Caboto also offers their banquet menu for a sit down meal. Their pasta sauce is by far the best around. Check out their social media pages on FB and IG to view and take advantage of their weekly specials!! You just have to eat here!!”

“What a life saver in a time crunch. We had a previous hotel reserved. On arrival we noticed the place to look well. On the outside. People were leaving due to multiple bug infestations. Upon further reviews and history we couldn't stay there. It was completely gross.
That's when we found Sonesta Simply Suites. The staff was incredibly sweet and understanding. Helped us figure out a room and at a better rate than the previous place. Very informative and helpful with us not knowing the area.
I could not have been more satisfied with the way this hotel is run. The rooms themselves were immaculately clean. Full refrigerator, two top stoves, dishwashers, dishes and pots and pans. Down stairs upon asking, she has extra for free use. Like crockpots and more pots and pans. Games for families.
To put it this way, all hotels should learn from this one. True customer service all the way around! Cleanliness and care for the hotel is obviously seen throughout.

“Went to teach (I work for the Detroit Swims program through the YMCA) at the Detroit Sailing Company young folks to be safe in open water. The kids and Harry, the guy in charge, were phenomenal.”
“Great classic bowling alley. Major flaw is there is only ONE entrance to the alley. Being so close to the major intersection it's almost impossible to turn left into the lot... causing you to either go further down the road to turn around in another business or be forced to only come from the south to turn right into the lot.
For team events, good luck trying to find a seat. Some spectators bring their own chairs because of the very small space.
Regardless, this is a nice bowling alley even with all the annoyance factors.”
