“Today was my first visit to the store, I didn’t really know what I was looking for or what I was doing, but the owner, Adam, was extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and showed sincerity in helping me with a future project, something that is rare in Windsor Essex nowadays for good customer service. I was previously looked at negatively from other hobby shops in the area for asking basic questions, but Adam today made me feel welcome. I will absolutely be coming back to this location for all my hobby and model building needs.”
“Stopped in for some hobby paints for my 3D printed statues I make. A very young gentleman helped me find colors I wanted. I let him know I would like multiples of the colors I find hard to find. He smiled and said no problem. He seen I use a walker and I let him know I would like his help in gathering. He was very happy to help me gather my paints and find them in the racks. He carried them to the cashier when we finished, thanked me when I was thanking him. Then I joked with the cashier. Over all, a super pleasant trip and shopping experience. Such a wonderful store. “I went in for info on telescopes (they don't deal with telescopes). Even though there was a non-stop influx of people rushing in to buy last minute eclipse glasses, they were still super kind and friendly. Ted Kloske is VERY knowledgable, took the time to answer my questions, and even took the time to look up the place I needed to contact for further telescope info. When I need anything camera related, this will be my place!”
“It's a fine game store, but I'm surprised at all the reviews that say the employees are friendly, since that wasn't my experience.
The last two times I came in, nobody interacted with me in any way? I came in, said hi to the person at the register, and was ignored. The first time I bought dice and also none of the employees spoke to me even after I spoke to them. The second time I came in to buy a mini (they were out of a ton of minis). I told my brother, who was browsing the cards, that I was done shopping since they didn't have what I needed. The employee who had just been talking to my brother didn't even look at me when I said that, which was weird. Then that employee immediately greeted a customer that walked in, asked him what he needed, had a whole conversation about inventory to help him.
I hate making assumptions, but I'm a very feminine woman and when you're a girly girl walking into a game store and everyone ignores you in 2026, it has a really weird vibe.”
“A framed needlepoint done by my Scottish aunt was hanging in the bathroom. She had actually given it to me while I was visiting her in Scotland. It was in a wooden frame which suited the room decor. Bathroom was renovated so a more modern frame was needed. What a beautiful job was done! The chrome brings out the sparkle in the mermaid's scales and is the perfect accent for the room. Thank you for taking such care with an important memento in my life!”
