“First time visit: They seem to run a tight ship. I liked that I could hear them tell each other what step they were on in the oil change, what tools they were using and the name and part number of what was being installed. Quick service, cost a little more than I'm used to, but I have a high mileage vehicle that only takes full synthetic oil, so i cant really fault them for that. They even got me set up for a rebate and coupon. Everyone there was kind and helpful.”
“We were passing through East Lansing from out of town. All of a sudden I started hearing a terrible noise from my right front suspension. After calling a few other repair shops with no luck being 4 pm on a Friday, I got a call back that muffler man was able to get me in before they closed that evening. It ended up being a minor repair, they got us in and out quickly and were honest & friendly in the process. Thanks Muffler Man!

“The front office is always very helpful with any situation I bring to Docs. Diagnostic testing is very quick compared to other garages. Tires are a big part of every vehicle and typically they can have whatever size in stock within a day or two for the same price if not better. Customer service is always top notch”

“I called them to ask about replacing my rear view mirror after my father recommended them to me, and they couldn't have been more helpful. They were up front about what is involved in replacing the mirror, and the cost, and even let me know about a body shop that might be a more appropriate choice given what I needed done. I really appreciate that sort of honesty and kindness, and if I ever need to have my car fixed again I will definitely call them first.”

“Last week I had such a pleasant oil change experience. I called 40 minutes ahead to make sure oil change services were still available for that day. I pulled in at 4:40 and the man in charge was apologetic that I'd have to wait about an hour for my oil change because the day crew was getting ready to leave (I was already expecting to wait, so this was not bothersome to me at all, but I thought his being apologetic about it was incredibly kind). Then he came in the waiting room to tell me the day crew could change the oil in 15 minutes, so it would be ready sooner than expected. On top of that, one of the crew members who changed my oil rang me up at the register and was so friendly! I figured most people would be disgruntled to do one more job at the end of their shift, but she had a happy demeanor and was very pleasant. I definitely think this crew went above and beyond and I wanted to commend them for their excellent customer service!”
