“I am a first time customer and I dropped car off and received same day service. Overall, very impressed! Not only were my concerns addressed, but you could tell they looked at the vehicle in its entirety. Costs and options were effectively communicated and services promptly performed - despite it being "Thanksgiving Eve". Compared to mechanics I've had in the past, services are also relatively affordable. Brian was personable and kind. Will be a returning customer, happy to find a trustworthy mechanic as someone who is new to the area.”

“I've always dreaded working with mechanics, until I found Ryan's Auto Care. I know I'll just be echoing what a lot of other reviewers have said, but this place is top notch. “I had been to the dealership who diagnosed my check engine light and they were saying that they could change the sensor and if that was not the issue, then they would change the mother board. This would have potentially cost me in the region of $2K. I took my car to Denny's as I was not comfortable with the Dealerships diagnosis. Tim at Denny's did a proper diagnosis where there was intermittent signal which caused the engine light to come on and the price to fix this was approx. $250 - $300. If you have an issue which needs to be diagnosed, Denny's is the place to go. Everyone at Denny's were great.”

“This is hands down the absolute best mechanic/auto repair shop I have ever had the pleasure of patronizing and I've been to my fair share of mechanics over the years. Most of the time I work on my own vehicles and am pretty knowledgeable about what parts need to be replaced when they break, the older I get the less desire/time I have to work on my vehicles myself so after having some bad/dishonest experiences at other shops I eventually found Randy and his guys at this Muffler Man in Lansing and I will never go anywhere else ever again as long as they are there. These guys are 100% honest about what the issue is with your vehicle and won't try to create extra work for themselves (its not like they need too) when the vehicle doesn't need it like alot of less honest shops do. They are straight shooters and are great at communicating with their customers. They seem to understand that alot of people dont have unlimited funds to dump into their vehicles so they try to be as economical as possible with the repairs in my experience. Very friendly. They have a large waiting area with a television, kid friendly, clean restroom and Randy even has a little area when you first walk in that has non perishable food items and clothing items that him and his guys donate (and customers if they choose too) for anyone who is in need to take what they can use. To me, that alone is a SURE SIGN of the type of shop this is, they truly care about their customers and the people in the community. If you need any type of repairs done on your vehicle you can't go wrong stopping in at this Muffler Man, give them a shot and just like me youll never need to find another mechanic. I wish that all business owners would operate the way that Randy does, they "get it" here. Thanks a million and then some for all that you and your guys have done for me. Car repairs can be a real nightmare but you guys have always made the experience much more tolerable and knowing that my hard earned money is going to a humble, honest, hard working business like yours makes the experience even better.”

“Got in quickly. Everything I asked them to do, they sure "seemed" to do (lol!). It was a clean Valvoline. Actually, I had 1st went to the one on Waverly by Home Depot...even though I was "next in line"...I sat there for over 20 minutes. I was truly glad that I left there bc on my home, the Amazon Prime van was still there...that means I would've still been sitting there. That's crazy!Anyway, everything went smoothly, the folks that worked there were helpful, considerate of my questions & did seem like their jobs were 2nd nature ?”

“I'm not here to complain too much. I've had good service with a smile previous to this... It is pricey compared to the others that change oil. I will only come if there's a coupon available. Today I sat for close to 35 minutes. The car that showed up behind me was ushered in first because the crew estimated the time frame for rotating the tires on the car in front of me wrong. I had to leave disappointed because this was the time frame that I needed to get my oil changed. Will have to find another option for getting my oil changed. At least this time.”

We drove from Ohio to purchase a vehicle for my husband and we mentioned I was interested in a newer escape for myself and within 10 minutes I was approved for a 2016 Orange Ford Escape!! I dont have to drive back for it either as she offered to deliver it. She went above and beyond and we appreciate her professional, honest and courteous manner. She is very funny as well. “Friendly workers. I love Valvoline Instant Oil Change. They didn't just give me an oil change. They checked the levels of all fluids. They put a tester on the battery. They checked the air filter. They checked tire pressures. I told the worker I had received an email advising me that I should have my transmission oil changed. He told me they could do it for me, too. So I had them do my oil change, new oil filter, new air filter, and new transmission oil. All within less than 30 minutes. The price was reasonable, and my vehicle was as happy as I.”
