“Our cat Hank had dental issues so bad one day couldn’t close his mouth and was drooling non-stop. After taking him to the emergency vet, they told us we needed extractions and they couldn’t do it. Every place I called said they couldn’t get him in for a month (mind you, he couldn’t eat and was in agony). When I called Bennett Road, their response was, “How soon can you get him in?”
They cared for our cat so well and were able to give him a surgery safely the next day. Their price was half of what we were quoted by other places, and their pricing was transparent and detailed and reasonable. He has been recovering well and has just started to independently eat and be himself again. I couldn’t have been happier with how everything worked out and couldn’t recommend them more. Truly a team that cares deeply about every animal that comes through there.”
“Dr Houk and her team were so kind, efficient and thorough. I came in for my first visit with my very sick dog during walk-in hours. Dr answered all my questions, came up with a plan and help for my dog immediately at check out and follow up care planned and scheduled. Costs all explained up front in detail and bottom line. So relieved to get such great help at a walk-in as a new patient and at a time when the practice was super busy. Not to mention I had my 2 young kids with me. Thank you.”
“I just want to thank everyone here at this clinic for all they do. I lost one of my cats, which everyone here at this clinic knew by name AND me from how often we would come. They knew how much she meant to me. The day she passed (3:45am), my mother called the clinic the minute they opened to inform them, since we had an appt set up to come in. Within a matter of a couple hours, everyone there had custom delivered an order of flowers for me for their condolences. The thought of them even doing such a thing means words beyond measure. I appreciate EVERYONE there. Thank you for even thinking of this, you guys all know how much love I had and have for my angel. You made it just as special. Thank you again.”

“Very thorough, kind, and helpful veterinary hospital. We have been taking our dogs here for 7+ years. The veterinarians are thorough in the exams and are patient in answering all questions. Our dogs have needed additional care like medication for allergies, teeth pulled, etc. The vets and techs have always been professional and so kind with our dogs and us humans too. The vets are cost concious too. When there is treatment involved they talk through all the options. I never felt like they were being pushy about one thing or the other. They truly want what is best for our dogs. The front desk staff is so courteous.

“Dr Rob is a terrific vet. Decades of experience with all sport disciplines and breeds of horses. I like that He's reluctant to order expensive tests unless they're really necessary. But if he orders a test, you can bet you need it to get to the bottom of the problem. His insights have saved us money and our many horses pain over the 20 years we've known him. I'm always impressed that just by looking and feeling how a horse moves and reacts he can determine the most likely root cause. And so far he hasn't been wrong. I can't think of a better vet than Dr Rob.”

“10? The primary care for MSU Veterinary is absolutely amazing! I have one dog who must wear a muzzle and is very nervous around new people. The staff was so patient with her, and took her feelings into account. Dr. Emery and their nurses were so amazing! I have another dog who is a hound who is very noisy and sniffs a lot, and she did perfect with the staff. She was licking them while they gave her a vaccine and everything. They are truly the best who looks out for their patients and clients. I had to put a dog down last year there during Covid and they were so compassionate, even the vet who put her down was crying. I will always take my dogs there as they give the best care.”

“My dog (Luna) got really sick, and they were able to get her in right away. While she is still on the mend, I know they saved her life with their fast acting care. They have consistently checked on her and made sure she didn’t need anything. Every single person we talked to and dealt with has been beyond wonderful. The receptionist was so kind and helpful, getting us in right away and checking on us. The techs/assistants who took such good care of her. The doctors being so thorough and knowledgeable. “Took my dog in to get her an*l glands expressed due to her having chronic issues with it. The team was kind and patient with my dog despite the fact that she is notoriously bad with being handled. I must shout out Jessica for making the whole process as quick and painless for my dog as possible. I don't know what I would do without them. I have other options in terms of vet care but their great care and customer service keeps me coming back. If you want good pet care with kind people who love animals then go to Abbott road.”
