39 N Broad St, HillsdaleSmall deli in the heart of Hillsdale. They pile the sandwiches high and offer some great sides. Recommend you try the house sauce on your next sandwich. I believe they also sell delis meats and cheeses by the pound as well. Rotating daily specials mean you can eat something different every day of the week.

75 W Carleton Rd, HillsdaleGenerous food portions served quickly and with a smile. Something for everyone because you can ask for removal of items, and breakfast is served as long as they're open. The only bummer is they occasionally run out of daily specials after the lunch rush. On the day they're open late enough for dinner, I wish they'd make enough to last through both lunch and dinner rushes. They recently remodeled the seating area, making it much roomier and easier to seat groups together if they have more than one. That was a nice change.

Cavoni's Pizza & Grinders
256 W Carleton Rd, HillsdaleIt was our first time here. I asked the server for a recommendation, and she steered us toward the subs. When I looked around and saw the quality-looking subs, we ordered an Italian sub, a Bbq chicken pizza, and onion rings. The pizza had big chunks of flavorful, moist chicken. The sub was filled with meat and oh so flavorful! The restaurant is in the Kroger strip mall, has a robust stream of take-out, and lots of basic seating. When I told my colleagues the about my meal the next day at work, they shared that Cavoni's has been in business for years! Who knew?! We'll be back. p.s. The onion rings were legit!
