“I came to the store with my camper van and a need to strap down my 80 pound e-bike inside my van. All I knew was that I had OEM D-rings on the floor but no idea how to keep it from falling over while driving on the highway. After eight days of trying to do it myself, I asked for help at this Harbor Freight Daryl,, the store manager, came out to my van, looked at what I was trying to do told me exactly what to buy (cam tie downs), and showed me how to install them. I am so grateful for his help for a problem that I have been trying to solve with many systems that did not work. This kind of thing may be obvious to some people but I had no idea how to do it. Daryl went above and beyond to help me and did it in a way that was kind and informative. Great store!”

“Excellent service and communication, I sold some old guns and staff were upfront about getting them into re-sale condition with what they would payout vs what they could sell for and keep a profitable business- which is all good, we need all the small family businesses to stay in business. DanA”

“The staff at Visser Ace Hardware are amazing! They always greet you at the front door and offer help for anything you need. If they dont have the answer to your question they find another employee that does. Tyler was so helpful on Sunday, he and another young man went above and beyond to help me with a painting project that had been frustrating me. They told me how to fix it and it worked! This is why I keep shopping at Visser Ace, the personal attention by caring knowledgeable staff.”

“Great service and very helpful. My family were camping nearby and after the first night our A/C stopped working. We traveled from Buffalo so we are not from the area. Johnstone was recommended to me so I brought in a part and the staff was very helpful getting the part I needed. Installed the part and now the A/C is working properly. Thanks guys.”

“I want to give Elaine at T.A. Gentry a great big shout out for the excellent effort she put in to ensure that my new walk in shower project got done in a timely manner. She contacted all the right contractors and suppliers to get the job done. Even when there was a hiccup she was my champion in getting it cleared up. I have another part of the bathroom that needs attention and Elaine will be getting my business again.”

“I ordered blinds online and thought they were a "standard " size. Box came with "custom cut" on the side and were the wrong color. Refund policy online said return to local store. At the Holland, MI store customer service desk, a sign was hanging stating no custom cut blinds could be return. Thanks to a manager ,Paula in blinds dept, they resolved my return issue and a whole lot more!!!”

“Blain’s Farm & Fleet is a great store with solid prices and a wide selection, but I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I’m not a fan of their system where you take a paper to the register and have someone bring the item out from the back. I like to see the product in front of me, hold it, think it over, and make sure it’s exactly what I need before I buy—basically, I want to take the item on a “first date” before committing to it. Other than that, the staff is friendly, the store is clean, and I always end up finding what I came for”

“Customer service was amazing. Someone asked me if I needed help. I said I need a dishwasher. They led me to the dishwashers and found another employee to help me who had knowledge of dishwashers. I use the self-checkout in a very nice lady. Helped me with that experience as well. Great experience!”
